Some of the specialness of this place: Feed uncaged pink flamingos, blue and white peacocks by hand, talk with parrots, enjoy butterfly gardens, interact with Buddha the green Iquana - a personal and incredibly fun way to enjoy and learn about nature. A nice variety of flora and fauna :))

What a cool place! The flamingos are amazing! They have absolutely gorgeous blue peacocks but also a really pretty white peacock, too! Lots of ducks, turtles and gators, too! The grounds are really pretty, as well, with lots of different plants including numerous bromeliads and orchids. They even have a butterfly garden! Most of the area is shaded by big, beautiful trees. This is a great way to spend a couple of hours. They even offer some very inexpensive plants (bromeliads, bonsai, etc) for sale. There's also enough space to be socially distant.

More of a small zoo where they encourage buying cups of food to feed the animals. Annual family membership is the best deal if you can take advantage of going to different parks across North America.

We went on a rainy day we couldn't go to the beach. They have several big lazy gators in a muddy pit; not too cool. Several beautiful peacocks strutting around that were impressive. There were 2 old parrots in the lobby/gift shop talking your ear off. Really funny and hard to walk away from. We learned parots can life long lives. The best part is the flock of Flamingos that will eat out of your hand! I was with my young grand kids and all 3 of us loved to have those birds pecking at the palms of our hands eating feed. It tickles!
