Totally forgot to leave a review but we rented a pontoon on July 5th for a full day and it was the highlight of our time in Bonita. We have a home in Bonita Springs and visit a few times a year. We are bummed that we never rented until now, but it’ll be a must from now on. Next time we will rent a deck boat to go out into the gulf but trailing the inter coastal was pretty awesome too. We saw mansions, yachts and DOLPHINS! We had quite a few dolphin sightings during our day. We loved pulling up on the beaches and just throwing anchor and jumping in off the beaches too! It was just a full on blast!
I especially want to send a shout out to Susan (I hope - my memory is so bad) who checked us in AND helped us blow up our tube also. She had awesome energy and knows the meaning of customer service! I asked if she was local and she told me that she has been in the area for 2 decades and has no regrets moving and honestly, I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind. Why did I even come back to Ohio? Anyways! Thanks Susan (I hope) and to the owners - give this woman a raise, or a boat - that would be cool too, she’s awesome and deserves it!

Our experience with Bonita Boat Rentals was tremendous. We have rented from them a number of times previously over the years and keep coming back! We rented twice from Bonita Boat Rentals on consecutive weekends in February 2022 on our most recent trip. The staff is friendly, the boats are clean and they even have ice if you forget to buy some in advance to keep your food and drink cold! I will definitely rent from them again.

Our family has been renting from Bonita Boat Rentals for years. One thing that has stayed the same throughout the years is their care and courtesy towards their customers. Always going beyond your expectations making sure you'll have the best adventure ever, whether you're fishing, sight seeing, bird watching etc. you can tell it's a proud family owned business.
When you arrive your boat is ready go, check-in is done electronically for less contact. For all the years we've been renting from Bonita Boat Rentals we've never had any mechanical issues with our boats. Andy and the crew take you through safety procedures and how the boat operates so you'll feel comfortable while on your journey.
It's a first class operation.

If I can give it a zero rating I would, as soon as we stepped in to this place this one guy that works their by the name of Andy was extremely rude. First he over charged us for parking, $50 per car and on the website it says $25 per car. When we were getting on the boat he referred to our group as these people and we came to notice that he referred to our group as these people because we are Hispanic. As we arrived back and explain to another employee the horrible experience and the over charge there was no apology at all. We will never go back to this place and will definitely make sure to tell my friends and family to never visit this place. Andy should not be outside taking care of people because In America you will have different people from all over the world going to your business.

we have been renting from bonita boat for nearly 30 years and have not had a bad experience. staff is friendly and helpful especial ANDY. Boats are well maintained we have never had a break down. Water is beautiful. We usually ride all the way to Ft. Meyers in Estero Bay. See many beautiful birds and many dolphins. We have even on occasion seen manatees. We usually go out several times a year as we stay in Florida for several months and this is always the highlight of our stay. I strongly recommend Bonita boat rental. Not only the least expensive on the water but the BEST.

The staff was great !!!! Probably the easiest boat rental experience I have ever had. I love their "out the door" pricing and flexible hours. The bay was full of beautiful sites from houses and boats to an abundance of wildlife. We probably saw a dozen dolphins up close and even saw a sea turtle. The channel markers were clear and easy to see. We were out for 3.5 hrs easily could have doubled that, Thank you Bonita Boat Rentals .

Four couples rented a pontoon for an 8 hour day and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We stopped at our rental house on Estero Island, stopped for lunch at Mantaza's and watched the Dolphins play. The crew was very helpful in giving us both instructions and suggestions. If I were to return I would certainly do it again, weather permitting. Bring your own snacks and beverages and if the water is not to cold there are many places to jump in!!!

We spent four wonderful hours on a Pontoon boat! This was the second time we rented from here and I would only rent a boat from Bonita. Everyone was very helpful and the boats were in great shape. The boating areas are easily marked and there are a few beaches were you can stop and swim. And also places to dock for lunch. Pontoon boats are very easy to drive and it makes for a great activity, especially with kids. Call in advance to reserve a boat as they do fill up.

Bonita Boat Rentals was a great way to experience, very nice, with opportunities to watch Dolphin and sailing with them near to de bloat, Excellent experience . We rent two boats for 24 persons: 13 adults and 11 children, they enjoy a lot watching the Dolphin, swimming near the Little and Big Carlos Pass, and fishing near to Big Carlos Pass. And excellent beach Day.

We read online that this was a friendly, family owned business - and usually those are the places we like to gravitate towards. As soon as we pulled up, a woman yelled at our car "ya here for a boat rental?" The rude woman directed us towards the back of the building, where we were met by a sloppy looking fella, lighting a cigarette, blowing smoke in our faces. Not to mention the boats looked rough and tattered...
We hadn't yet made an appointment, and were hoping to make one that afternoon.
We were sent into the office, where another gentleman assisted us. The next boat wasn't available until 1pm. We were hoping to only rent a boat for 2hours. He laughed in our face, told us we could either book two hours at 3pm, or three hours at 1pm, but he wouldn't let us rent for two hours at 1pm. He was SO RUDE! No manners... very abrupt and rough. Turned us off real fast. We had no desire to support a business like that.
We just walked right out, drove 5minutes down the road to Bay Water Boat Rentals... I recommend you do the same.

Service to our customers is our number one priority and we encourage you to try us again because Bonita Boat Rentals is the best way to spend your day on Estero Bay on one of our professionally maintained pontoon boats!
We always try our hardest to accommodate our customers and the times they want to go out. That is why we are flexible with our times offering 2 hour up to 8 hour rentals and let our customers choose the time they want to leave from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm 7 days a week. We always encourage advance reservations for one of our rentals.
