Amazing fishing here! We come and sit under the overpass and fish! There is an undertow, so be careful here with swimming. It’s amazing!

We went here with friends from here that recommended this beach for the sunset and we were not disappointed. One tip, once the sun sets you have about 5-10 minutes before the noseeums (little biters) show up.

We found Little Hickory Park by chance. We found a beach access area that had a parking spot. We were so happy we did! This was pure paradise. We crossed the bridge and set up on the powdery white sand. The beach was desolate and I was able to find some pretty shells. We even met a nice little friend—a friendly egret.

It is a county park and beach. A beautiful place to relax and have fun, basically year round depending on weather. The parking seems easy and all the basic facilities are there. You have to pay for parking not unlike everywhere else...The sand is delicate. Some people are fishing. Picnic tables are convenient for families and picnicking. Very nice destination.

Little Hickory offers up a nice little beach with plenty of shelling opportunities. We actually found more sand dollars here then any other beach in the area. Parking is difficult arrive early.
