The manatee guide was a once and a lifetime experience. Tim was a terrific guide and truly shows his passion for the manatee species and nature. Seeing the manatees so close and learning about the species was truly more than I could have ever expected. Very blessed to be able to experience one of the last trips! Thank you Tim!

My sister found this tour. We had an absolute amazing time. We saw manatees and dolphins right away and throughout the 3 hr tour. Tim was able to provide interesting facts about the wildlife. It was such a relaxing and peaceful day. We will remember this experience for the rest of our lives!

Tim was a friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful guide! I learned so much about the manatees as well as the other critters of Estero Bay. Seeing an adult manatee go under the kayak and a baby manatee come up to investigate my kayak were surreal experiences; I had only seen manatees in the zoo. It gave me a new appreciation for this amazing mammal and I felt truly blessed to be able to see them in their natural habitat. Thank you for the once in a lifetime adventure, Tim!

Let me start off by saying that even the most glowing review will not do this adventure justice. We live in the Ft. Lauderdale area, and, armed with sunscreen and a change of clothes, drove 2 ½ hours to Estero Bay for the kayak tour, which starts at 8am. Tim was absolutely fantastic; incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, engaging, and an amazing guide through our excursion. He’s been in this business for ten years, and it shows. His love for wildlife is heartwarming, and he honestly made this one of the best days of our lives. This trip was planned as both a Mother’s Day gift for my mother, and a birthday gift for our close friend, and I am pleased to say that they both got exactly what they wanted. We were up close and personal with manatees, dolphins, cow nose rays, and so much more, all with Tim’s skillful instruction to help us get the most out of our three hour tour (yes, I did that). I have not seen my mom so happy in a very long time, having finally crossed this off her bucket list, and I, at 36, felt like a kid again. We will never forget this day, and will talk about it for the rest of our lives. I recently married, and my husband and I decided to purchase these tickets instead of using the money for our honeymoon to Disneyland, CA, and I can truthfully say this was completely worth it. It was such a beautiful, magical, awe inspiring, rewarding and truly priceless experience, no other trip could come close to this. Tim, I know you read these reviews, and I can’t thank you enough for everything you did for us today. You made the day perfect for us, and I am so grateful to you for putting so many smiles on my mom’s face, especially. I have already recommended this to a friend, and I believe she will be booking a tour very soon for her own family.

There is a cooling pond off Rte.# 80, east of Ft. Myers, Fl. When the water temps dip, the manatees make their way, from the cooler Gulf waters, along the Caloosahatchee and the Orange Rivers and into this small pond, adjacent to the electrical power plant. You can watch dozens of the graceful sea cows bob up and down enjoying the warmer waters of the pond.
