I live near this place. I'm so happy that our tradition of buying pumpkins and screaming through a corn maze will continue in spite of covid. The haunted corn maze is awesome, and gets better and scarier every year. Over the last few years, this place has become really popular, so expect a bit of a line before you can enter the corn maze. If that bothers you, pay extra for the fast pass. Either way, the corn maze and the actors are great! They also have nice family friendly times and areas for younger children. I grew up in Maryland, and to me, there are not many places like this in Florida for kids to see a farm and pick flowers or fruit or vegetables. There are not many corn mazes either. The prices on the corn maze have gone up over time but so has the quality. I think it is very reasonable.

When you go, remember that this is a working (non-animal) farm, so wear appropriate shoes. There are plenty of portable bathrooms set up, so expect similar facilities as if you were at an outdoor festival or parade. There are bathrooms during restaurant/store hours but late at night and out towards the corn maze, you have the porta-potties. You will park in a field, and you may want to bring a flashlight or at least have your cell phone powered up, if you are coming or going after dark.

The Halloween corn maze is is a well run event. You will have a great time any time of year!

At the corn maze, vendors have food and drinks, but I always bring a few bottles of water for myself and the kids. In Florida it can get rather hot some nights even in late October.

We enjoy coming here to get fresh fruit and vegetables, whether we picked them or bought them at their own store. They also allow local schools to do field trips. A great group of people!

Farmer Mike's is a farm stand that has a fairly large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. We found everything to be of quite high quality and, I believe, locally grown. The staff was congenial and relaxed - kind of fun to talk with. In fact, while we were there, one of them brought out a few loaves of freshly baked rhubarb bread that was quite delicious. We were there when they opened at 9 AM and were the only customers but there clearly are times when they get bigger crowds - the parking lot is large and they have recreational things for kids including a bouncy house.

We've come here in feb. And march for the past 3 years. We are always pleased with the assortment of upick produce available as well as items from the store. In the past couple weeks (mid march)we picked excellent strawberries, heirloom tomatoes and broccoli. We saw lots of peppers, fennel, onions, dill and amazing sunflowers were also available. The prices are slightly high. For us, it's well worth the experience of being out in nature and having the freshest produce possible.

Definitely not a “u pick” farm. There was nothing to pick. All sunflowers were either picked or dead. Very few pumpkins and nothing else. Absolutely not worth the fee or the time.

Thank you for your feedback, obviously this is your first time out with us. We do understand you probably aren't as well versed in agriculture as we are so we will take this as an opportunity to help educate you on south florida farming. We are definitely a U-Pick farm providing U-Pick Flowers, U-Pick Tomatoes, & U-Pick strawberries typically starting around Thanksgiving through Easter. We also grow over 350 items here on our farm all of which is available in our farm stand throughout season. We specialize in Heirloom Tomatoes, Peppers, Squash, Melons, strawberries and yes FLOWERS. If you would like to try some of these items you should sign up for our annual CSA program and you will get fresh off the farm veggies all season and other incentives here on the farm. Now for the educational part. Not much will grow in the summertime down in south florida due to the heat and humidity (Pollen goes steril in most vegetable plants over 95 degrees), hwoever we do, Unlike any other farm in our area grow a variety of items for our annual fall festival in October such as Sunflowers & Pumpkins. Also starting this week we will have our U-Pick tomato program starting YAAAA. This will be the earliest we have ever had them so that's very exciting for us. Please come back out in November and you will see what we are all about and I think you will be pleasantly surprised to see what we do here on the farm. Thank you & Have a Great Day

Fun, fun, fun... open the last 2 Friday's and Saturday's in October... get there around 6:30 and get tickets early, once dark the wait can get to almost 2 hours. It's a fun time for the family, nothing much like it around here.

This farm has a nice produce stand and a little refreshment area. We picked strawberries at the end of this season....wonderful!!!!! Also picked REAL tomatoes that look and taste like tomatoes. So much of what the grocery stores sell are hot house. These are the real thing and they are delicious!!!!!!!!!!

Farmer Mike’s is just outside Citrus Park where we spend the winters and where we buy our veggies, strawberries and flowers.
Can’t keep my husband away from the fresh strawberry milk shakes. This year they had a steady business for their breakfasts and lunches. You can also buy a fresh cut Christmas tree.

Farmer Mikes is the only place I go to buy fresh, truly locally grown produce. Many "farmer's markets" have become little more than vendors selling the same products you can buy at the supermarket but this place is the real deal. You can see the fields and even pick your own fresh fruits and vegetables if you want to.

The people are very friendly and helpful and there's always an excellent variety of goods. In addition to their heirloom tomatoes (which actually taste like old-time tomatoes) they have multi-colored peppers, fresh picked broccoli and other things you simply won't find in stores. The best part is the prices- I can leave there with 4 huge bags of fruit and veggies for $30. Even if you could find this quality at the store it would be double the price.

If you're in the area I would highly recommend visiting Farmer Mikes.

Farmer Mikes is a great place to pick your own items from their open air store or pick your own from plentiful fields. It is a great place to have the kids help with the gathering of fresh strawberries. The great vegetables and fun times make it a great place to visit and buy.
