Sugar Sand Park is one of the best local parks I have ever lived near. My son has played in Boca Hoops at their excellent gymnasium for years. Their baseball fields are great for local baseball. The fort play area was always a favorite of my boys as they were growing up (but it is currently under construction). My granddaughter... More

The park is under construction, so we were not able to have the kids burn energy, but the Explorium is still open. This place always has cool displays and it only costs a donation. A great place for a rainy day on a budget.

My husband and I went to check out the Science Exploratorium that is on site at the park. While it is not a sophisticated museum, it did have some fun displays in its permanent room, as well as a traveling exhibit about microbes that was well done. There is also a working merry-go-round for the kids nearby. The playground area is... More

We took our 3 year old here. There is a carousel for only $1/ride. He went 3 times and loved it. Definitely worth the trip.

Great water park for small children. There is a large sand box and a Merry go round. The hands on science center is engaging as well.. The Sugar Sand Theater has wonderful shows.
