Apparently, the city of Bal Harbour is now hosting art exhibits on the path which skirts be beach from 99th to 102nd Streets. This makes a lovely walk in the morning or late afternoon, when the sun is not as strong. The exhibit we saw,...More

There were a few people on the beach. Beach service only for hotels by the beach. Water was warm. There is a walking path next to the beach

This Bal Harbour Beach is not that crowded, because it is located within the hotels and private condos.

There was algae along the shore. It would have been nice if the city would have removed the algae to allow the beach to be more enjoyable. Although we couldn’t go into the water the sun was out which made for a beautiful day.

Beaches are better farther South, the waters are not as rough and umbrella service more efficient. You have to find passages to the beach which is not an easy task.

Narrow beach with plenty of seaweed and coconuts. Dodge that stuff, and you have a quiet, clean beach to share with other quiet people. A great escape from the Miami beaches.

This is a perfect beach! So clean! Very nice water, crystal clear. Not crowded at all! Nothing to buy so bring what you need!

Beautiful beach walk that we did every morning with our dog. You can't take your dog directly on the beach but it is a beautiful long walk with plenty of other dog owners, walkers, cyclist etc.

You can fly into Miami but most of the time FLL, Fort Lauderdale airport is cheaper. The beach is about half way between both airports so a cab is $20-25 either way.
