The beach is beautiful in an upscale area. This area is great for a romantic retreat. This area doesn't have a night life or a lot of restaurants. This area seems a world away from south beach.

If you're into jogging, runnning, pushing a carriage - the path right by the beach is a great place. There are trees for shade, and some benches for when you need a bit of relaxation. The wide expanse of white beach with lots of umbreallas from the various hotels is a very pleasant way to spend the day.

Nice area of Florida but not for the budget conscious!!! Shopping, dining and lodging are all quite expensive.

Great for couples. The bathroom, the shower was to die for. I washed my hair just because. The patio view late at night is so romantic. Nice spot for boo baby. Great breeze. I could live there if the price was reasonable,

a nice destination to stroll or jogg on the beach, but with the many high rise buildings on the beach, very early in complete shadow. So more for early birds and jetlagged Europeans than those who are looking for a late afternoon stroll on the beach.

As all beaches in S Florida they are beautiful turquoise blue waters, difference is what can you do on them while you visit, this is NOT a tourist beach, This is for people who live in Bal Harbour, you cant access it unless you live there, or go thru a building and they security will not let you unless you... If you're a person that like to fish and also see tropical colorful fish i would recommend you walk down the long walk way that is located on the left side of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. You can park under the highway and pay for parking. Then you can walk down the long walkway that leads out into the sea. It... More
