This is somewhere north Miami and you can probably notice it because it's the only area along the beach sections that has no built-in structures. Almost everything is nature. All the rest have buildings that really obstruct the view and make everyone in those buildings...More

I used to live in Florida in the early 2000s, so was well acquainted with Haulover, specifically the clothing optional, northern section of the beach. If the thought of being on a nude beach makes you long for the good ole days when people wore...More

The Haulover Sandbar Party is an exclusive party only accesible by boat, kayak or paddleboard. Averaging 100+ boats a weekend and several food boats to fill your belly, this crazy party is a must do and is safe for all ages including children.

Went down this past week for our second trip. This beach is a great place just to let go. I agree that the single guys who just creep around (some fully clothed ) just to get a look at whomever is the only downside. The...More

We were never on a nude beach before, and were not sure what to expect. It was such a freeing and comfortable experience. We got to the beach, rented chairs ($10 each) and an umbrella ($15) and easily found a spot. Once you look around,...More

The entire beach is a lovely, clean and enjoyable place to spend time in the sun. My favorite section is the north end which is a sectioned off and clothing optional.

We always aim for mid-week. Not too crowded and week end gawkers are hopefully at work. March water can be dicey. Spring breakers seem to make it work so ENJOY.

I don’t believe you will have any problems finding a decent space. You may not get front row to the ocean if you go past noon but it is really a nice big and Long Beach.

time to walk to Haulover Beach (2 Replies)
Is it really a 50 minute bus ride from South Beach to Haulover Beach. Google maps said like a 3 hour walk one way from south beach to Haulover ? is that true. i am a fast walker though? i was considering walking there so i can experience coastline as i enjoy walking barefoot along beaches. suggestions?

world> Haulover Beach is lots of fun and a dedicated stretch of the north end is a legally nude beach. If you want to get there from South Beach, a bus or taxi is best. If you simply want to enjoy the coast, walk out to South Beach and have a wander north or south and see how you like it. ALL our beaches are lovely and you can walk along the sand, the promenade, the boardwalk and find many hotel pool bars to cool off en route. AG

I was there April 29th and stayed at the Ocean Palm so I didn't use the bathroom. They appeared to still be under construction. Sorry I could not be of more help.
