Our guide, Joe, was wonderful. I am not normally a tour person, so that says a lot! Knowledgeable without being officious. Allow yourself time to walk around the grounds(bring bug spray). The exhibits were displayed very effectively. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

A cab ride from Wilmington's Amtrak station should take 15-20 minutes. It can drop you off at the Visitors' Center. (The cafe there is quite good.) There is a shuttle that takes you to the mansion.
