Went to the Carriage House at Rockwood Museum for a wedding. The venue was lovely and perfect for this kind of event. The grounds were beautiful.

This is a previous mansion that now is a museum. I had a great tour of the interior, very nicely decorated with many pieces of furniture that are original of the first owner.

Very friendly staff and knowledgeable guide. I went on November 9th and they were decorating for Christmas. I was only visiting so I wish I could have seen the house and grounds after the decorating was complete. The lights on the grounds must be splendid....More

We visited the Mansion during the ice cream festival. It was lovely and the staff were great answering questions. We toured the grounds and the carriage house was being used for a wedding later that evening.

You don't have to pay to drive into or walk or run the grounds. I believe it's a mile just around the property. You can choose to walk where there are inclines or where it's flat. You're welcome to walk your dog, but it... More
