This is a must stop as it’s one of the best kids playgrounds I have ever seen. Just happened to find this place on a quick park search while at the brandywine zoo. I am so happy we were able to come here and enjoy the playground. The park itself was huge with different fields and cookout areas. It had bathrooms and water fountains and I believe it even had a golf course. We didn’t do anything except the playground but that was good enough. The only downside was that since we had a non Delaware license plate it was $8 to park. A little steep just to go to a playground but it is what it is. Still give it 5 stars as it really is a lot of fun

My son is in a wheelchair and we had been searching for a place that can adapt to his needs. This Can Do playground fits his wheelchair going up and around and has so many activities. Its great. The only downfall is you have to be careful in the summer the playground gets very hot because its not shaded and my son has trouble regulating his temperature and the sand pit is great but there are these bees that decide they want to use it has their home and get very aggressive. 3 out of 4 of my kids were stung within 30 minutes of being there. The playground itself is very entertaining for all ages! You also have to pay a park fee when you go.

As active grandparents we are interested in passing this habit on to the next generations. The Can Do Playground has an active device for everyone of every age. A couple of basics to mention first. This is a well maintained facility that is contained within a fence. There’s only one way in and out. We also liked that it is well removed from traffic and the ample parking lot. Although it was cloudy the day of our playground visit, there was shade planned in the design. The CDP is large enough to accommodate many children. Adjacent to the playground are a couple of walking / jogging paved trail. Obviously it’s also ideal for kids on bikes, scooters and roller blades. Also nearby are soccer fields. I expect that the parking lot can be busy when this complex is being fully utilized.

First of all, the shade they have by having tents up above the playgrounds is a great idea. It keeps the scorching sun off of you (I am a redhead and burn very easily) but also it randomly rained bad one time and we were able to take cover under these shades. Excellent idea no other park has. Other than that, its spacious, has plenty of different swing sets! A sand pit, large one. Its a really fun playground and I've only met friendly people there. We will be going back again in the spring.
