This was a cool way to see live music but just be knowledgeable about the seating arrangements. I paid extra for what I thought were close-up balcony seats and ended up at a table in the second tier or the balcony, row E. Two other couples were also surprised. None of the women could see the stage seated behind the... More

At least the city of Wilmington, otherwise known as murder town has something going for it. It is The World Cafe Live at The Queen. We did not partake in the food or drink, but the venue is outstanding. I've only been to downstairs shows. The staff is friendly and helpful, the acoustics and sight lines are great. A wonderful... If you love live music, the Queen has two great options. Upstairs for smaller events and food, and downstairs for larger shows. I have been to see several events - Kermit Ruffins, Robert Cray, Sonny Landreth and others and the small size makes for a very up close experience. Full bar with lots of craft beer selections. Come out and... More

I was curious about the Queen in Wilmington since i frequent World Cafe Live in Philly. I decided to use Kiefer Sutherland as my reason to go there. He was great but this isn't a concert review. We were downstairs and the room is fabulous. The acoustics were good and the most of the staff were friendly. HOWEVER, the service... More

went to see my favorite band (beru revue) over the weekend. the sound was excellent and the drinks flowed by our attentive server. bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. stay away from the eggplant fries at the end of the nite=they came out cold and greasy. other than that it was a great time.

Another amazing evening. Bob Schneider upstairs. Music, food. Spirits and home before 11pm. If you're in Wilmington, it is a must visit.

We came to Wilmington for a Tribute to Whitney Houston event. The venue was packed, staff cordial and friendly with many great seats on the ground floor as well as up in the balcony . Wonderful time feeling the love on Valentine's weekend!

Saw several shows there- some seated, some standing. When I've eaten there, the food has been good, prices fair and service good. Some standing room shows crowded but not packed. Balcony benches a cool spot to see the show as well.

First timers to WCL @The Queen. We were impressed by the venue. Made reservations & was seated right up front. Enjoyed the jam with Lower Case Blues & Sweet Leda. We had dinner before going, so had drinks & nibbled on sweet potato fries, that were yummy. Our waitress was attentive & the staff helpful. Enjoyed our night out &... More

I've been to a couple of events at World Cafe Live (upstairs and downstairs) in Wilmington, DE. The venue has a lot of potential; but, realistically, it leaves much to be desired. (Fyi--The food isn't very good...eat before you get there.) I do, however, love the fact that they bring acts to the area that you would typically have to... More
