View of the place is unique. Its good place to go with family. The area is well secured. Water fall is not so big, and we have to watch it from very far.

It's a quick stop- not for the people afraid of heights. The guard rails and shrubs block a lot of the bowl (which was dry but we knew that) because we went with kids between 9-12 we didn't go beyond the rails. It was ok. No bathrooms, parking is free, view of the cities is very nice.

Visited in mid July. There was water due to a province wide drought. Make sure you know where your little ones are. There are a few places where they could fall.

We went knowing the falls would be dry due to the lack of rainfall in the area but the view from the overlook was worth the drive over there! Go on a clear, sunny day and you can see Toronto from there!

We live about 30 minutes from the city of Hamilton/StoneyCreek and were looking for a hike nearby. The Devil's Punchbowl is pretty awesome and totally worthwhile. The hike itself is about 20-30 minutes in, to the bottom of the 'bowl'. When you arrive and park, you can see a giant iron cross, that's where you can see the best view... More

First, we had such a difficult time locating these falls, and then, it turns out the falls were not even a trickle! That would have been fine if someone would have INFORMED us that the falls ran dry that time of year.

There were many trails that were below the lookout point. I wouldn't have known without my husband pointing out an opening in the trees. The trails that we hiked were diggicult but magnificent. We really enjoyed the difficult trails and getting into the punchbowl. Unfortunately, there's been no rain, so there were no falls. But it was still a great... More

I came here with my "boyfriend at the time" and it was a nice view but didn't really think it to be really great. Mind you came when it was getting dark and it was kind of hard to see. So maybe in the daytime it would be way better of a view.

My 10 year old son and I stopped by Devil's Punch Bowl after his soccer game. The sun was just setting when we arrived and we managed to take a few nice photos. It has a great look out above the city. It is a huge "C" shaped rock formation at the escarpment that forms a bowl. A narrow waterfall... More
