Featuring the largest selection of rental bikes in the area: including beach cruisers, comfort bikes, road bikes, kid's bikes, surreys, tandem bikes and more! Complimentary child seats, helmets, locks, bells, lights and handlebar bags. We are located close to Cape Henlopen State Park and just a short distance from the Gordon's Pond and Junction & Breakwater Trails. Free trail maps provided with bike rental.

I reviewed Atlantic Cycles a few years ago. They were awesome then and are still awesome now. High quality bikes, with or without gears, tandem bikes, and no annoying extra charges for helmets or bike locks. Highly recommend renting bikes and leaving from the shop to ride to Herring Point in the State Park (past Gordon Pond) and back, total of about 9 miles, all very flat, and lots of cool things to look at.

Rented bikes with my mother who is in her 60's and my 7 year old daughter. The staff was kind and helpful and we had a blast! Road on the boards and through town. Very reasonable prices and the bikes were in good shape. I would certainly recommend getting there earlier during high season as everything gets pretty busy and it was easier riding with less people and traffic out and about. This was our first experience with renting bikes because we did not feel like dragging along our own, and we will certainly do this again for our next visit!

The folks at this cycle shop were supper helpful getting us the surrey(4wheel bike for 2 people to pedal) making sure the kids helmets fit properly and giving us instructions on operating procedures. We rode down to silver lake, all around Rehoboth, stopped for coffee. Then to Halopen acres playground. The kids loved it and was a great workout for the moms! Highly recommend.

Convent location right on the boardwalk. Good selections of bikes. If you forget your bike helmet, they have some there. We usually get single bikes, but tried the double seat one this time. Harder to peddle but fun! They will also give you a bike lock if you need one. The people are really friendly and helpful. Will rent again next year.

We rented bikes (including a tandem) and rode to the state park. Service was quick and friendly. They quickly switched one of our bikes when it wasn't perfect. Most important, they are nice bikes WITH GEARS and they include helmets and locks for free. Gears are a very nice thing to have for any substantial ride. We were blowing past struggling unhelmeted riders on bikes with no gears. A half day rental was 12 hours! Could not have been happier!

We first went to Bikes-to-Go and were told that we couldn't rent a hybrid bike (good for longer distance tours) with either a basket or a rack over the rear wheel. Since it was important to have some way to carry beach towels or hand bags, we declined renting. Went to Atlantic and they mounted a bike rack for us at no extra charge and also gave us a 50% discount for second rental week! Very friendly staff, gave us map of the bike trails. All in all would recommend using their service.

after searching the bike shops in area while staying in Dewey beach, decided to rent from Atlantic...not only were they willing to pencil me in to reserve a bike without a deposit but their prices are a much better value than others especially considering their bikes are better quality and very well maintained....if you are staying at the beaches in Rehoboth or Dewey consider this place for your bike rental needs....the service is also outstanding and very friendly

We rented a 4 person Surrey bike and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly, gave us a map, gave us some advice on where to ride. Everything about it was great. We wanted to pay for more time up front and they told us they would settle up with us when we came back. An hour was the perfect amount of time. We didn't need the extra time. We went very early, 7:00am as soon as they opened. The boardwalk was open and not crowded, and the streets weren't busy so we didn't have to worry. Its a great way to spend a morning.

We've rented bikes from many bike rental stores at the beach but Atlantic Cycles has by far the cleanest and best maintained bikes we've ever rented. Most only offer single speed bikes but we both had 3 speed bikes which are much easier to ride. They even offer you helmets. Will definitly return.

This is the place to go for high quality bike rentals - including a wide range of styles and purpose. I rented a fantastic Fuji road bike for a week and was able to trade in the last two days for a hybrid so I could ride with friends. Frank gave me great personal service including shoes, a floor pump, water bottle and a very details map for non traditional bike rides and exploring. I highly recommend for all travelers.
