We had a very nice time on this tour. The tour started on time and our guide was great. We walked a short distance to each spot. A representative from the restaurant talked to us about how the restaurant started and what they’re about. We got a small bite and a cocktail (non-alcoholic if you choose) at each restaurant. The food was great, and we enjoyed the opportunity to check out some new places. We visited Zogg’s, Aroma (loved Yuri the bartender), Theo’s, Catcher’s, and Indigo. Would like to do this again with different restaurants.

This was a great experience! Even for long time Rehoboth foodies, like ourselves, it was well worth it. We all have our favorite places we go to every time we’re in RB. We went to none of them! We were exposed to new and exciting restaurants we might not have tried. Our guide, Alex was very knowledgeable and sprinkled a lot of local history into the adventure. New to Rehoboth? Do this! Long time Rehoboth foodies? Do this! Just be prepared for a lot of walking and eating. Loved it!

We are new to the area and did not know much about the restaurants. This tour was everything that it was advertised to be and more. We got a chance to go to 5 different restaurants, sample their signature dish and drink all while meeting some wonderful people. Our tour guide, Tiffany, was great and pointed out fun facts about the area and restaurants. We enjoyed it so much that we immediately booked a return visit in a few months. Glad we found this.

We’ve done this tour multiple years and have been to the same places — which we don’t have a major issue with, but our issue with the tour is the lack of parking. For the $, parking should be arranged / reserved for those of us coming from out of town. We almost missed the tour this year because it took over an hour to find a parking spot. Maybe arrangements can be made with the Bellmoore or the city to set aside some parking for out of towners.

So you had a hard time parking! In 9 years of doing the tour this is the first time we got 3 start review for something we can't control. There are other choices like take the bus downtown so you avoid the parking issue.

My husband and I were gifted two tickets for the food tour and were very excited for it, as my husband had used vacation days with his job to make sure he would be around for it. Two days prior we got a voicemail saying that the food tour was cancelled because they were unable to get enough restaurants to participate. We struggle to understand how they wouldn't already have partnerships established since this is how they operate. But we were told in the voicemail that we could either get a refund or reschedule. We emailed them back as requested in the voicemail to go ahead and issue the refund. We followed up with the person who gifted us tickets to double check that they were refunded on their credit card. It has now been several weeks without the refund issued and all of our emails and calls to Eating Rehoboth have been unanswered. What seemed like a lovely Sunday not only resulted in wasted vacation time for my husband but also now a headache of 3-4 people trying to contact the company to get the money back with no such luck and more time wasted. Avoid this at all costs!! Or, at the very least, make sure to book the event with a credit card for when you have to dispute the charges later because nobody from Eating Rehoboth believes in talking to customers.

Don't be fooled with the hype of this tour. We booked 6 months in advance and it was very disappointing. The tour should have been the Jacona Brothers tour as we started off at Zoggs (Good start but very average) and also did Tikki Jac's (gross appetizer as well whatever cocktail they served which no one finished). Then things went really South as we ended up in chocolate candy store (not expected - certainly not Theo's as advertised) and then even worse to an overpriced Spice/Tea Shop on the Avenue (again a shocker of a stop since it's not a restaurant). The tour ended at Aroma which was best stop of all, but to late to save the overall experience. Again, very disappointing and tour guide was weak too and tried his best to a historian of Rehoboth - which we wasn't by a long shot.

This was one of the best Food Tours that I have been on. It was the first that I sampled so much alcohol. All the restaurants on the tour were great and we sampled some awesome dishes. I wish I could remember their names. Tiffany, our guide was very knowledgeable of the history of Rehoboth and the establishments we visited and others in the area. We try to do a Food Tour whenever and wherever we travel. This was a great one.

We thoroughly enjoyed this past Sunday visiting the various restaurants (including three new ones ) and walking around Rehoboth with Tiffany! She was a great tour guide and very informative. We enjoyed every restaurant we stopped at. Looking forward to doing it again in September.

This was our third time on the tour and each time we visited new and different restaurants. This tour is a must if you are a foodie and it is a great way to get acquainted with some restaurants you may not usually choose. Each time we find a new favorite!

We were excited to visit new restaurants that were unfamiliar to us. But we were expecting more for what we paid. We understood that this was a way to market restaurants and we enjoyed each place sharing who they are and what they serve.
But we would have expected more food and beverage for what we paid. I could have taken my family to a very nice restaurant for a full dinner with wine for what we paid.
Not worth it. Next time, we'll just ask around and do more searching ourselves!

Sorry you didn't like your experience. We are very proud of what we offer for a very low price of $55.00pp. In fact ,that's the first time in 8 years we've had someone complain about the what they got for what they paid. Knowing the business like we do and eating out often as we do, I'd say its way under what it would be in any nice restaurant for food and wine.

I eat only plant based foods, no animal products at all. Do you have a plant based only foods tour?
Written August 2, 2016
Sorry, we are unable accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies or food substitutions. The restaurants are free to serve whatever dish they feel best represents their place on any given day. 90% of the dishes will have fish, chicken or meat.

Hi, I was not able to find booking available for Memorial Day weekend? Do you still have openings for 4, 2 adults and 2 children (age 19 and 15)? We will be there Thu 05/26-Mon 05/30

Sorry No Tours on the Holiday Weekend! Its to busy for the restaurants to accommodate the tour. Just so you know...nobody under 21 is allowed.

We too had the Coffee House as our last stop. Although I did not care for the whole schtick of it it was nice to have a comfortable wind down there and I was full anyway. Two of the "girls weekend" group were given very nice Schell Brothers Towels & some other goodies and we sang Happy Birthday and I think the Coffee House made the most of it. I hope that this tour keeps getting new restaurants in the mix.
Our tickets were won at a silent auction at charity event so for the socially minded, this is a really good group of people who give generously to the community.

Hi Barbie, Thank you very much for the nice note. All of us at EatingRehoboth love our community and honored to be a part of it. We so add restaurants throughout the year, but if you do another tour, do a Sunday which has a different group of eateries than Fridays.
Cheers

Can I bring my 16 year old daughter on this tour??? Obviously she would not partake in any alcoholic beverages, but enjoy the food and tour with the family.
