Couldn't have asked for better weather or a nicer beach. Go down after Labor Day for a number of years now. Waters warm, beach isn't crowded, cost of the hotels and even some of the restaurants have dropped. Had a great time. Stayed at a hotel right off the boardwalk. Walked everywhere. Beach is very well kept.

Since Friday, 9/18, was such a warm day, we decided to take a nice convertible ride down and grab a bite to eat for an early dinner. We decided to try Dogfish (will review separately), and easily found parking. I was looking at the meter and started to put in quarters, when someone stopped on a Vespa like scooter, and... More

Warm water, long stretches of beach, lifeguards (even on a weekday in September) make this a pleasant beach to visit. Parking is kind of confusing but the boardwalk is awesome.

Parking, games, and rides cheaper than Ocean City. Not as much to do, but also less crowds. Great boardwalk and close to the water. After Labor Day is the best. Also on Tuesdays is a Farmers Market, close to the circle.

Water was cleaner than New Jersey. Life guards are on duty until around September 29. Some hotels on the beach more expensive then I wanted to pay but if you stay just 2 blocks from the beach you can pay around $86.00 or less per night. We stayed at the Breakers. Although not a high end hotel, the location was... More

This beach is less crowded than Ocean City during peal season, however, parking is a nightmare. Come prepared with quarters and/or cash to break down in quarters. Max parking is 3 hours unless you park really far away. It's $2/hour to park and trust me they do not hesitate to ticket you if you are a minute late. The beach... More

The city needs to eliminate any smoking on the beaches, boardwalk or in town, even at designated spots, as the smoke still blows around.

Beautiful mid-size beach, perfect for families! Love that you don't have to walk a lot to go from boardwalk to water's edge. it's the perfect balance, nice sand, good lifeguard coverage
