I have been coming to Rehoboth for over 20 years, and for some reason have never seen a Clear Space production until my sister told me I should go. Wow, this little community theater is a true asset that needs your attendance and support! From...More

The theater hosts a teen drama camp each summer and puts on free performances each Saturday during the summer. We saw Hairspray. While minimally staged and costumed, the performers showed real talent. Well worth the trip. Be aware that parking will set you back $4-6.

I recently attended a performance of The Chorus Line. Great energy and nuanced performances and a spectacular ending. All the seats are up close and personal but for this show, I felt that it was important to get a center seat.

I have seen three shows so far and expect to see many more. The level of talent and the production quality far exceeds my expectations for such a small theater. The prices are very reasonable, making the theater available to just about anyone. There are...More

Clear Space has really "taken it up" a notch or two in the last few years. High quality performing arts with shows throughout the year including local and national talent. Their programming includes everything from Broadway favorites to contemporary theater family shows to more "edgy"...More

We were at the shore for Thanksgiving and thought the production of "Meet Me in Saint Louis" would be a nice way to start the holiday season, since it features the song "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". The theater is in a former church,...More

We saw this very edgy play and were very impressed with the actors. This production was as good as you would see at a professional theater in Philly. The play is certainly dark and the topic (pedophilia) was unusual for Clear Space but it was...More

This year, I've had the pleasure of watching an incredibly talented and artful cast of many perform The Laramie Project, Eyecons of Broadway, and Priscilla Queen of the Desert, but the BEST live show I have seen besides a few on Broadway was The Final...More

We went to see their production of Chicago. The staging was simple but effective and the singing was excellent. The only negative was the sound. The actors aren't miked and when they are upstage, they can be very difficult to hear. Often missed the lead...More

The actors and actresses did a great job of bringing "Chicago" to life. The theater has a very positive energy as do the thespians. The kind and talented actress playing "Roxy" interacted with our 11-year-old as part of the show and it was a highlight...More

Jake's Seafood Restaurant is right across the street. (See my review). In downtown Rehoboth, some meters accept credit cards while others require quarters ( a lot of them) or a cellphone app. My son-in-law handled the app... More

It's a small theater so you're always close to the stage, but because the seating area is flat it's probably best being closer to the front.

Good question, Sharon! Clear Space's summer rep season begins on 6/25, opening with GREASE that weekend. You can purchase tickets online at clearspacetheatre. org or by calling the box office, 302.227.2270.
