Overall, we really do love this campground. The only issue that we had was the amount of trash, cigarette butts, fishing lines surrounding the campground and near the waterways. It's a very quiet place and the view of the bridge at night is quite cool. There was quite a bit of potholes in the roadways to the sites. The staff... More

We loved this beach. We chose the entrance away from the bath house which was less crowded. This allowed us to spread out and gave our boys room to play in the sand without getting sound on others. We also had a direct line of vision from our umbrella spot directly down to the water without having to walk through... More

I stayed at this park for a 5 day long camping trip. This is the first time that my family has been camping to the beach and, let me say, we were not disappointed! The camp ground and its bathrooms are kept clean, are quiet and are a short walk to the beach. The beach, the inlet and the bridge... More

If you want the beach without the smell of Thrashers fries, check out the sand at this park. Umbrella and chair rentals are available, as are regularly cleaned porta-potties, and if you bike in there is no fee.

It is easy to understand why Delaware State Parks are voted number 1 in the nation. They are beautifully maintained and expertly staffed.

For a nominal fee of $10.00 for out- of- staters, you have access to some fabulous beaches! Most of the park has lifeguards in season; and the surf fishing in the remote sections can be rewarding. You do not have to put up with the terrible traffic in Rehoboth or Dewey, and you have access to really good eating at... More

What a great place to go for a day trip to the beach! $5 parking, bathrooms, showers, and snack bar. Extremely easy beach access.

Nice size sites but could use some shade. Affordable and walking distance to the best swimming area in Delaware and a beach with lifeguards that start at 9:00am. Could use some fans in the bathhouses. Electric and Sewer connection but cable would be a nice addition. Could get loud on the weekends but most folks get quiet by 9:00pm. Would... More

The Parks, located at several points along Route 1, are a fabulous place to relax for the day. Unlike the Bethany town beach, which seems to get smaller each year after the annual Nor'easter, these beaches are broad and deep with ample room, even at the height of the season. Delaware residents can buy an annual pass for $35 or... More
