I get a little claustrophobic at times; especially in closed MRI machines. If you are similar you can relax because the pods are spacious and you will not feel closed in. When you make your appointment, they will send you an email with instructions, make sure you read it to prepare. They will provide body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. You should bring your own lotion, hair grease, and deodorant. I also recommend bringing a loofah to make taking your shower after the float.
The rooms and showers are private, and I did not have an issue with leaving my stuff in the room while I was inside the floating pod. The rooms were very clean and you can't wear flip flops to the shower, so you may want to bring foot spray if you have the concern.
Make sure if you are paying with a gift card that you have the gift card number available so they can charge the correct account.
About the float - it was relaxing. You will have to find the best position for laying down so you can be the most comfortable. Neither my wife nor I slept during the float. We both spent our time floating around the pod and slightly bouncing off the walls - that was fun. Depending on your head position, your head/ears may dip below the water surf. They will give you a head rest if you want to use it, but we didn't feel water logged.
We do plan to do another float and I recommend this activity.

This was a very cool experience. USE A GROUPON! It will be half off. Clean, friendly, classy atmosphere. You get lost in "the zone. Best to lose the bathing suit and do it with gentle music in total darkness. You can open the pod if you are claustrophobic but try it closed first. It is only 10 inches of water and very safe. If you get salt in your eyes, there is a fresh water spray bottle and wash cloth right there. Very relaxing. They have the whole process down pat. You will want to go back

This was a very neat experience however the session lasts a full hour which for me was a little long - I did get a tiny bit of motion sickness during the treatment which they say is normal if you're sensitive, but I do wish I knew that ahead of time.

I used to love this place when they opened, great salt floats, great clients, and purchased the monthly plan, unfortunately, I have to check my debit card every month, to check up on them, sometimes they charge me twice sometimes twice in three weeks, never billed on the same day of the month always a different day and when I call, always an excuse, overcharged for 2 months when I froze my monthly membership, I am constantly asking for my billing to be corrected. Seems like this place has everything up and running except a consist bookkeeper. How can I relax in a float when for 7 months my automatic debit payment has been inconsistent and you never know when or how much you'll be charged. They can do better at Urban Float Rehoboth

This was my first time floating. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was very nice and helpful. The facility was very clean. Already scheduled my next float.

I felt so amazingly good after floating, I just can't say enough! I was totally relaxed and didn't want to get out. I admit I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to relax my mind enough to get the full benefit of the float, but listening to some meditation allowed me to keep focused and not let outside thoughts invade my time and space. My body definitely benefitted as well. I'm in fairly good shape but with age come some nagging aches and pains. All of those were gone after my float. My neck and back felt like new! I can't wait to go back!!

We've always wanted to try one of these... and the experience far exceeded expectations. I felt like I was just so at peace for hours afterward. I've already looked into a membership at a place near where I live. I loved the sensation of weightlessness and supreme comfort with texture, temperature, lighting, and sound all just perfect for me to spend an hour fully relaxed. I found that I was able to stretch and bend my body while in the pod in ways that allowed my joints to feel amazing relief from usual pressures even while at rest in bed. I spent some of the time in darkness and some of the time experimenting with how the different colors of lights made me feel. I also played with the water to create pleasing ripples of light across the ceiling of the pod. The shower before and after was refreshing, and the entire place was very clean and well-maintained. The introductory video and orientation by the staff made it an easy and enjoyable first-time experience. We'll be back, for sure!
