We took the Off-Centered Tour on a Sunday. We purchased our tickets online the day before because they only allow a certain number of people in each group.
Their is ample parking in the lot. It was about a 25 minute ride from Rehoboth to the Brewery.
For only $10/person, it was well worth it. We had an hour-long tour along with a sample in the middle of the tour.
At the end, we were able to pick 4 drinks to sample at the bar (well worth it).
If you’re looking for something different to do, I highly recommend this tour.

Great beer and isn't that what really matters. The brewery tour was about an hour long, interesting, and in depth. Great take on the history of Dog Fish Head. A visit also includes 4 free samples. I was blown away by Dog Fish Heads amazing quality control.

I've been to a few other brewery tours but this one was the best! No reservations so keep that in mind - you get there and tours are every 1/2 hour. We had 4 free tastings while we waited. The staff is amazing - so fun, so knowledgeable. I'm not a huge beer drinker (my boyfriend is) and we both loved it. Only downside was not being able to go in the super awesome tree house - but the staff, beer, and cool ambiance totally outweighed that.

Was having a great day at the brewery. Staff was fun. Unfortunately at the end of our visit the manager chased our group out of the brewery claiming we were drunk and a danger to the rest of the guests.
I'm a 40 year old with 3 kids visiting from New York. This guy was completely of of bounds and ruined our fun day. We took a cab to and from the brewery and only had good intentions.
This manager is a embarrassment to the Dogfish Head brand and ruined our day.
Love the beer.
Thanks!

Caution: This location is NOT the brewery tour but the restaurant only. We made the mistake of going to this location because of this TripAdvisor recommendation and learned that the location for the brewery was 25 minutes away and not in Rehoboth Beach. Don't make the same mistake that we (and others we met that day) made.

The tour isn't to long at all, but its fun to see and experience. It is also fun just to hang out at the bar they have there and try all the brews! Staff is friendly and atmosphere is fun. I will definitely do again when Im in the area.

Besides the Guinness factory, this is the biggest brew operation that I've been to. They have a great set up! Make sure to get there early - you can't make reservations so you hop on the tour that's available. We waited for about 45 minutes but they have a great bar area and some free samples to pass the time! And cornhole if you want it. Only complaint: tour was a little long. But it's a huge place and definitely worth the trip!

Disappointing would be an understatement for our experience at the Dogfish Head Brewpub. As a lover of their beers, I was very excited to visit the pub when staying in Rohobeth, and just dearly wish I hadn’t.
The first night of trying to get in, they had closed for the entire day and just left a note on the door, nothing to mention it on the website before we set out, but, I was looking forward to visiting, so bravely tried again the following day.
I don’t know if it was a shift change, a collective hangover from the staff party the day before, or that they simply couldn’t care less but the service was just non-existent. The place wasn’t too busy, and we were seated quickly, then waited, and waited, and waited for anyone to come and serve us. We flagged down the host 3 times to ask if there was a waiter on our section who ‘would be right over’, after the 4th time of asking we just ordered some beers from the bar (which were excellent).
Finally a server came, 20 minutes after us sitting down, too little, too late. No way was I willing to give them another dime. I don’t care if the server knows every last detail of the mustard that they put in the brew, or what the use to get a flavor of baklava in a beer, if you cannot be bothered to look after your section, and don’t know hospitality 101 then, seriously, why would I pay your wages.
We left for another restaurant, and not only will I not go back to the brew pub, but they have lost me as a drinker of their beers. There’s hundreds of craft breweries out there, I’ll give my dollars to ones that actually care about customers

My hubby and I enjoy Dogfish's restaurant (Falls Church, VA) near our home, and we had high expectations for a tour of their brewery in Milton, DE. We were staying at Rehoboth Beach for a few days and the brewery was a pleasant 30-minute drive away.
Boy, are we happy - expectations fulfilled! Dogfish's ability to rock your taste buds and sense of fun is fully present at their brewing facility/tour. Along with an interesting tour that moves along quickly (about 90 mins), you get free fulfilling tastes of 4 brews of your choice. Their vodka is also out of sight - and I mean that in a very gooood way!
Our tour guide was Bethany - personable, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. We found those traits in most of the other staff members, too.
Definitely worth a visit! We're going back again and will visit the Dogfish Inn as well.

Confused by this listing. Shows "Dogfish Head Brew Pub Tour" for Rehoboth Beach, but on a visit we were told the was no tour and no brewing at this location - just a restaurant featuring Dogfish Head beers. The tours are apparently at the Milton DE location.
So why are there reviews of the "Dogfish Head Brew Pub Tour?"

I had the same experience and disappoinment. I wrote a review about the restaurant, not realizing the listing was for the tour
