Great biking! Sections of rocky gravel and pavement combine to make this a pleasant bike path. We rented bikes from Atlantic Bicycles on the boardwalk. I got a bike without any front shocks and I would highly recommend getting a bike with front shocks. The path takes you through everything from pine forests, neighborhoods and salt marshes. Well maintained and... More

We parked behind the Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth for some morning biking. We followed the trail for 1/4 mile or so and took a right turn. It led out to the road near a baseball field. So we turned around and came back and followed the signs to Lewes and the beach. We went through a wooded area. That was... More

Great trail to run and bike on - biggest perk - no cars! We rode our bikes from Rehoboth to Lewes and had lunch in a quaint little restaurant and back to Rehoboth for a delightful afternoon.

This year the trail has been extended at the Lewes end. If you combine this trail with the Henlopen trail, you can do a loop that encompasses Rehoboth Beach and Lewes. The trail itself is cinder with the Lewes extension being paved. I enjoy the variety of scenery. There's shaded forest and expensive new suburban McMansions; lots of cornfields, too.... More

Great trail for all. Some areas are nicely shaded and there are areas to rest for those that can't ride the entire way.

Great experience. We took the ferry from Cape May to Lewes to spend the day biking. What an adventure! This is an amazing trail. What isn't well known --- you can actually do a 16 mile loop from the SeaGreen bike rental shop (there's two: one in Lewes, one in Rehoboth). It made for a fantastic day. Here's my recommendation.... I needed a place to take my dog for a long walk in the morning before heading to the beach. She was excited to be on this trail with the new smells and sights. I went early in the morning before it was too busy. My dog was interested in the bikers and runners; everyone on the trail was polite... More

This trail is great for all levels of exercise-flat terrain, shady most of the path and wide enough not to get in others way- a plus is the placing of benches along the way to allow of a quick rest. Don't miss this opportunity to go from Lewes to Rehoboth without worries for traffic!

Easy-going but picturesque. Nature plus town if desired. Good plan for Rehoboth to Lewes or reverse while grabbing lunch midway.
