The entire mall was not open due to Covid 19. But the stores we entered definitely used 6ft precautions. The mall is HUGE. Very nice and clean. I am a shop aholic very happy that i was able to get things from the stores I wanted.
Loved this Mall.

The Christiana Mall has changed significantly for the better in the past few years. My visits had been few and far inbetween, but now I visit regularly to dine with friends/family and shop for luxuries and groceries.
Dining: There's at least 6 restaurants in the mall, most of which are accessible with there own entrance, so you don't have to go into the mall if you choose. The most visited seems to be the Cheesecake Factory. Expect a wait unless you go right before the lunch or dinner rush. The only downside is that most of these restaurants are only accessible from outside, therefore you have to go outside the mall to get to them if you had been in the mall. There's also a food court, which just added a Thai eatery. Nothing else exciting there.
Shopping: The flagship stores are Macy's, JcPenney's and new comer Nordstrom. The mall has a nice variety of stores in various price ranges and is my first place to visit when I need something. If you'd rather relax and read, head on over to Barnes and Noble near the food court. Also, there's shopping center that's only 5 minutes from the mall and includes Old Navy, Boscovs, DSW and soon to be Bed Bath and Beyond; all of which are not in the mall.
Groceries: Target is one of my favorite stores and its arrival to the mall made me very happy. I can shop/return items and then hop in to Target to get my groceries and such. It's connected to the mall, so its very accessible to the other stores.
The mall is starting to become crowded. If you don't like crowds, go before 11:30 am on the weekends or during the day on weekdays.
Overall, the atmosphere is very pleasant and the renovations proved to be very nice. There are many nice areas to sit to take break. One of note, is the seating area outside of Nordstrom. There's also a little cafe there.

I love the Christiana Mall! It has something for everyone! So many stores and too many options! We especially love Cabella's and Costco. I recommend getting there early because it's always crowded.

An overcrowded nightmare filled with rude people who don’t recognize personal space. The parking lot is a hellscape and signage is not existent. Tax free shopping isn’t worth the aggravation

I believe the mall provides you with an opportunity to buy large ticket items at competitive prices and save a few more bucks. For instance, electronics or home appliances. There is an Apple store inside, so if you need to purchase more than one item, it may make a good difference, or, at least, you may treat yourself to a "free' dinner with what you may save.

I will continue to patron several surrounding stores of the Christiana Mall such as Pier I and Michaels Arts Supplies but will no longer shop within the Christiana Mall itself. Has anyone else reading this been approached and or "literally knocked over" by the Keyosk employees within the mall? You know, the little booths in the center as you walk along.
They tend to look and sound foreign (dark hair and olive skin) with thick accents which is fine,
I do not honestly care where you are from or look like but they are so obnoxious and relentless in getting your attention to try a skin care product or hair product that I just cannot enjoy my shopping experience. There has to be at least a dozen of these booths. I have complained to the Customer Service Desk but they are just becoming more aggressive. I do not experience this with any of the other businesses within Christiana Mall. I was told that the man that actually owns the mall also owns many of the Keyosks/Booths that I am specifically referring to. Maybe he does not care, obviously. It's all about the money for some. I have taken all of my business to Boscovs in Christiana and the Concord Mall were I can shop in peace. Thank you

If you are ever in the area and looking to do some shopping this is a great place to get your shopping on. The mall has all the major stores and brands you would typically find in malls. Also, some nice restaurants and place to eat.

Costco, Macy, JC penny, Target, Best Buy, Home Goods, Apple Store, Microsoft Store are just a few of many other stores. Worth a drive to do tax free shopping

First, a disclaimer. I am neither much of a shopper nor a mall person. I recently had to go to the Christiana Mall to visit the Apple store for a new battery. Then back to XFinity for an issue. It seems as when you start there is no stopping this.
FOUR visits later (Macy, Disney Store, William Sonoma, and back to Apple with my sister-in-law to purchase a phone) more times in a month then I would normally go in a year, I have a developed a sense of the place.
Easy parking. Quiet unobtrusive security.
Friendly sales forces in the stores. A Borders and a large Macy’s. Of course all the usual stores as well.
Here is what makes a trip to this venue worthwhile. An adjacent Costco. A Target. An entire SECOND Outlet Discount mall complex as well as a stand alone CABELA’S a Pier Five etc. Then a mile away is another mall complex with Jo Anne’s, Bed Bath & Beyond etc. etc.
Oh, by the way no sales tax In Delaware.
So. If you must shop and you are in the Quadri state area (New Jersey, PA, Del, Md) this large shopping venue should make it for you.

Boa noite Denise,

Christiana mall is in Delaware state, so there is no sales tax on anything. Restaurant, food, alcohol, clothing, services. No sales tax at all here in this mall.

It is my understanding that the following 5 states have no sales taxes, so therefore any malls in those states should be tax-free.
Alaska
Delaware
Montana
New Hampshire
Oregon
