We stopped by Glasgow Park one Friday night when they were supposed to be having their outdoor Farmer's Market. On this particular date, the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile was also scheduled to be on location in the Farmer's Market area.
Upon arrival, we did spot the Weinermobile. After quite a long wait in line, we were able to get our picture taken with the Weinermobile. After getting our picture taken, we decided to check out the few stands that were set up in the Farmer's Market area. I was disappointed to find very few vendors. There were maybe 8 stands at best! I recall seeing a lady with produce, another with baked goods and a few others. We did purchase some baked goods from Beth's Homemade, but passed on most.
Overall, the Farmer's Market at Glasgow Park was very tiny. It was much smaller than I remember it being a few years back. It was really disappointing. The only upside to this visit was that the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile was visiting. The COVID car was also on location.
Note: This park also has a dog park, tennis courts, basketball courts, a skate park, snow sledding hill, walking paths, children's playground, picnic pavilions and etc. My review is only of the areas I visited on this date.

We decided to take a ride out to Glasgow Park to view their Christmas lights this holiday season. Last year they had a drive-thru display. Not sure IF they offered it this year, but they did put out the decorations again. We saw that they had a few lighted trees around the Frazer House where they hold the farmer's market. So, we stopped one night to take a look. It is a big park and it seems like the decorations almost get lost. I feel like they could do a lot more with the land that they have.

We last went for sledding during that unexpected snow storm in March. They offer tennis, running/walking/skating/biking paths, a skate park, playgrounds and there seems to be more to come all of the time. The grounds are well-kept.

This park is conveniently located at route 40 opposite to Y. This park is very big, open and provides 4 miles walk way. You will love running, jogging, walking and more....

So many great things have been added to this park since the time I first start walking here. They repaved the walking trail, built a basketball court, a tennis court, a skating park, and installed little stations where you can stop and do certain exercises. The even have a playground for kids.

And that’s exactly what they did on this 300+ acre parcel of land that was once a working farm, every year they’ve added more attractions. This park has it all and keeps expanding. Walking and bike trails, wooded hiking trails, a man made hill, skate park designed by famed skateboarder Tony Hawk, kids playground, picnic pavilions, basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields, dog park, water features. And, oh yes, they old farm buildings have been preserved now and they have a farmers market on site every week in the summer. Plus tons of events throughout the year!

It's a great park but the biggest problem is that there is not enough shade during hot, sunny days. The shade over those small seating areas are not enough. Plus, playing on hot equipment is not easy on the kids. They either need to build some shade over the play equipment or plant trees closer/around to the playground...

It is a fun park that is close in area. I wish that they would have more people that work for parks and rec present when it is seasonal because it doesn't seem that there is anyone there to offer any assistance what so ever when it is truly needed.

Really nice park. Stuff for bigger and littler kids. Swings and a sandbox. Tons of areas to sit. Nice walking trail for jogging etc. All the other people there are so friendly too which is really nice. very community oriented. A deer even peeked out of the woods so that was a treat. My kids loved it. Will go again soon.

What is the roll-up door for in the pavilions? Just wondering if that’s accessible for the party supplies?

I have only walk around the park, but I know that pavillions can be reserved but I do not know any phone number to contact. Yes it gets busier there in the summer.

Not really sure. I think there is a plaque on the property with that information

I would like to know what is going to be done with the homes and barns that are fenced off, will they allow someone to restore them back.
