Hours listed are by reservation only. Walk in's accepted Friday-Sunday. Get ready for another level of entertainment at Camp Adventureland! We offer indoor Hatchet, Hawk, and Knife throwing for adults and offer child safe throwing games as well. European Tri-Target Knife and Hawk throwing lanes you'll not find anywhere else this side of the Atlantic. Jason's Tavern is open for Beer and Wine! We are open for all holidays including Christmas and Thanksgiving and all NFL games with large screen TV's and Booming Sound. Throw, Watch and Cheer! Immersive escape rooms, Including the "Curse of the Jade Skull and the "Blind Tiger Speakeasy". Our Children's escape room "Save Santa's Workshop" opens November 30th 2019. Check back for the opening of our Train, Submarine, and Magic Parlor rooms. Our 80's themed indoor campground will transport you & your guest to an unforgettable experience! It's the perfect place for a date night, league or team building events. Bookings Required Mo-Th.

It's a great facility for team bonding and socializing, it just didn't have the formal meeting area our group needed.Sorry we didn't fulfill your expectations for a meeting area. As a private reservation you had your axe throwing area and tables all to yourself. An actual meeting room is not part of our repertoire. We're happy that all our your activities were up to expectations. It’s a really great experience. Even ran into some friends who were doing escape rooms at the same time. They loved it too!T, You had a great group of coworkers. We’re adding pool tables and dart boards in February. Stop back in and enjoy the new activities. We paid for axe throwing for 6 people, but we were only given a spot for 2 people. We spent most of the time watching others in our group and did not get much throwing time. We asked our “camp counselor” to resolve the issue, but she said “big groups just get less time”; the place was empty so it did not make much sense.

This is unfortunate you had a poor experience. I did speak with my Manager on duty during your visit. It was explained to you that throwing cabins each have 2 targets and that each cabin accommodates 8-10 people. This is very typical at all throwing establishments around the country. Your group of only 6 people was provided ample throwing and you were given the opportunity to learn some of our games. You refused to learn gameplay and insisted you each have your own targets. It was unfortunate that your family member felt the need to apologize for your behavior and temperament. At Camp Adventureland we facilitate social activities and group gameplay. Additionally our Counselors are skilled throwers and entertainers. In addition the Manager did not say larger groups get less time. It's not in her nature to speak to someone in that way. It's pretty easy to see when someone is fabricating. Best wishes.

We had no idea this was tucked away in Middletown. We went in during the week

It was just us and we were treated so well. There was a staff member and the owner, Brian.
This was our first time throwing axes and he spent the time to show us how, walking us through technique until we were comfortable. He stayed, even keeping score while we played a few games.
Really great vibes and a lot of fun! Where else’s can you have a drink and throw axes, knives and ninja things. If you’re looking for some fun and possibly a new addiction check it out, we Highly recommend!

We find that spending the extra time needed to assure your comfortable throwing makes for a fabulous experience. Who wants to bounce axes off a target for an hour unsuccessfully? What fun could that be? Everyone has best throwing style with a half dozen or so basic variants. Teaching the best technique for you is the trick. Identifying your style is our specialty. No one leaves us feeling defeated. Being able to score and compete is what drives the fun. Thank you for your recognition.

Hatchet throwing here was so fun and entertaining. It was our first time hatchet throwing. Lauren was a great counselor. Very helpful and fun. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go again any chance I get.

We did two hours of axe throwing as a double date. We had Laura as our “camp counselor” and she was AWESOME! She was a very patient coach as it was all our first time and it can take a little while to get the hang of it. We played a bunch of different games to keep it interesting and had a few drinks on the tavern side. Laura was with us most of the time and was super chill to hang out with. We really didn’t know what to expect going in to it but it was a great way to release tension and was a good little workout too. Wear short sleeves because you’ll get hot quickly! Thank you so much Laura, can’t wait to go again!!!

Whether you’re here for the axe throwing, the escape rooms, or both, you are certainly in for an amazing experience. Camp Adventureland grabs you immediately with its expansive campground aesthetic. A counselor like Jeffrey, (who was SO funny, kind, and friendly) will explain the rules to you and some really fun ways to add some spice to the game. That way you can have loads of fun whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned expert! The escape rooms are extremely fun and challenging (but not overwhelming). Whether you’re in a small or large group, there is a job and puzzle for everyone! Happy camping!

My son chose Camp Adventureland for his 12th birthday. He had a total.of 7 kids that have never thrown ax's before. this place was amazing. First, the prices were extremely reasonable for what they got to do. We were able to start with one hour and then the kids decided they wanted to go another hour, which was no problem! they allowed us to bring in our own pizza and cupcakes and take a break for the kids to eat before moving on to hour two. The camp counselor we had was fantastic!!!! He was so patient with all the kids and when he saw they were struggling he gave them pointers and made the whole experience so much fun. Everyone is excited to go back! Thanks for making this one of the best birthdays!

The escape room was fun, some of the hints and clues were hard to understand over the radio. We were just seconds short from escaping!
Axe throwing also very fun, and it helped to have someone keep score and keep the games moving.
There is a bar that had an extensive selection of beers, wines and mixed drinks.
Make sure if you qualify for a military discount you get it when you book online. I was not aware and they would not refund the 20% when we got there. Said to come back and use it next time, which is very disappointing as my military son was only in town for the weekend. :(

I am very sorry for the misunderstanding. It is our policy to provide the discount to all active military personnel with ID. The discount extends to their spouses and children. We were a family of nine out for our monthly game night. Jeff explained the axe throwing process and stressed how to be and remain safe. He periodically checked on us and offered pointers as needed.
We had fun. It definitely wasn't as easy as it seemed. We will definitely put this activity in rotation for family game night.

What an amazing night with friends! We did the speakeasy first and it was so exciting and fun! It was challenging but made sense....so cool. We beat it and our hearts were racing, then we did the ax throwing and our “counselor” Jeffrey was amazing! He is hilarious and makes it even more fun! I didn’t think I would be able to throw the ax but with his patience and kindness, I was able to get a couple bulleyes ❤️❤️ We haven’t laughed so hard in a long time,
With Corona being so stressful, this was such a nice break, everything was clean and I felt secure, everything was clean and organized but relaxed and fun!

What’s the age limit for throwing and escape rooms.?

Escape rooms have no age limits. Bring the whole family. No charge for 5 y/o and younger. As far as throwing 10 and up can throw axes. We have throwing for kids 6-9 with our one of a kind suction cup axe and bean bag targets. Of course there’s always cornhole and Ladderball too.

We take our sanitation very seriously. So much so that we have invested over $1500 on new hospital grade sterilization equipment. Our UVC Robot is placed in our Adventure Escape Game rooms after uses. It's high energy UVC blasts the room with so much energy it generates Ozone. It sterilizes all the surfaces. Even the tough to clean cloth surfaces get sterilized. All puzzle pieces are laid out to receive a maximum dose to assure compliance with manufacturers specifications.
Our throwing areas are wiped down with bleach and water mixtures specified by the CDC. All hatchets are also sterilized with our portable UVC unit to assure even the nooks and crannies of the hatchets are ready for our our next customers. Masks are required when not social distancing with anyone that is not in your daily social group. When possible we spread groups into alternate lanes expanding our 12' lane centers to 24'. Camp Adventureland is the perfect place for company events and teambuilding. Our corporate packages start at 16 people and our capacity is 60 tavern side and 120 total. Generally scheduling a corporate event can be scheduled with more than 2 weeks notice but larger groups of 40 or more should plan on 30 days.
