My husband grew up going to the Delaware beaches to visit family, and he has visited Puzzles/Lewes Gourmet since he was a kid. These stores are simply FUN - they have unique products that you'll have a hard time finding online, and the atmosphere is super relaxed and welcoming (it's a family-owned business, and the owners put a great deal of effort and care into the product selection). The gourmet foods section has so many different and interesting products from around the world, and the puzzles and games are truly one-of-a-kind...like, I really tried to find some of them online, but I either could not or they were way more expensive online. These stores are fun if you like puzzles and for getting your family to do something low-key and relaxing together. We have a toddler and there were several age-appropriate toys for her in the back too. We look forward to visiting this store every summer - it is a community institution in Lewes and has given families like ours tons of fun memories!

We visit Puzzles every single summer! We've always picked out treats from the Gourmet side of the shop as well! I know I can get a Cadbury Dairy Milk from other places, but I never do . . . I reserve that treat for my trip to Lewes! I love that the puzzles are arranged by level of difficulty, too!

These kinds of stores are rapidly disappearing. This is such a fun store, full of puzzles of all sorts, games, and many other nice things to buy. Great store for your kids or the kid in you.

I've been shopping there for years and have bought lots and lots of jigsaw puzzles, brain teasers, sudoku books, crossword puzzle books, and the like. Its my "go to" place when shopping for presents. This granny doesn't buy toys or electronic stuff for the kids and grandkids - they get presents that require brain power. Its also right around the corner from the best restaurant in town - Touch of Italy!!

Went to this store on a suggestion from my puzzle trading Facebook group. There was a large selection of puzzles organized by piece number and some areas by difficulty. Half the store is English food which thrilled us! My husband and MIL are English so I made lots of purchases for Easter baskets as well as buying some puzzles.

I stumbled upon this shop once many years ago and returned recently to Lewes specifically for this store. We had a great time exploring the puzzles and the new gourmet food side of the shop. It's a great little local store. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area.

OMG - I LOVE this place. We stop every time we visit. Our children are grown ,but it is still fun to browse. Mostly I head for the sale shelf in the gourmet food section. Plus, to make this even more authentic, the owner is a Brit. Always a delightful stop.

Puzzles is my "go to" shop when I have a gift to get for someone and have no idea what to get. Tim, the owner, is very knowledgeable and takes having fun with PUZZLES very seriously. Love this shop. They have an area where they have puzzles that you can work and try to figure out. Puzzles is a great activity for the young and older, it is a wonderful way to bring people together.

I ordered some juices that were really delicious, Cabernet jelly and Gin-Gins chewey ginger candy. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I didn't get any puzzles but it was a great store to check out while you're there. I can say that they appeared to have a wide range of international gourmet treats!
