Recently, I had an opportunity to visit the Nassau Valley Vineyards near Lewes, Delaware. Located just off of DE Route 9, heading west, the vineyard is located in a picturesque setting that reminded me of the Tuscany landscape in Italy. The winery is tucked away in a shaded area, with surrounding buildings and spaces that can be used for group... More

Much to our surprise we found this sweet little winery right off the main route 1 drag. We attended a farmers market and enjoyed spending a few hours there. The staff in gift shop and wine tasting room were friendly. Wine tasting was $5 per person for 6 samples and you get to keep the glass which was a nice... More

Sadly, it rained on our two day beach trip so I decided to try out the winery. It is a nice place with good wine. Loved that they had an area dedicated to the history of wine making and a photo display by local artist. Was a nice way to spend some timeout of the rain.

Loved my tasting and tour here! The buildings had a lot of history. The self guided tour was nice! All the wines I tasted were awesome! I now know why they have won so many awards. The grounds are beautifully maintained! Super easy to find and a great little stop and it's something different to do! Everyone was super friendly... More

Loved that you can do a self guided tour and take your time reading all the interesting information about how all the wine making started and many other facts. Cool place

We enjoyed our Tasting (you keep the glass). It motivated us to buy a couple of bottles of wine from their gift shop to take home with us. There's an informative self-guided walking tour on the history of wine-making between the tasting room and the gift shop.

Nice little vineyard. Went for the first farmers market. Tasting disorganized. Need signs posted inside the tasting room directing people to the register to pay for tasting and more organization. The customers had to keep passing along the instructions. My suggestion. Put chairs at both ends and assign groups numbers to be called in order of purchase. This way you... More

The owner of the winery greeted our bus, and the first sample of wine was already set out. As we sipped it, she started giving us a fascinating talk on the history of wine in general, in the US and in Delaware. As she spoke, she poured out 5 more samples for us. At the end of the talk and... More

We were driving thru Rehoboth Beach, and found this little winery. Great wine guide, gave us a nice 6 pours for 5 bucks. Self guided tour afterwards. Would recommend.
