The ice cream here is good but the wait was crazy. There was one person working and my son and I waited over twenty minutes for one ice cream cone. A little tough to do with a five year old. I know it's not summer any more but it might be good to have more than one person working.

Made a first time stop here after reading about the creamery in a local newspaper. Very large selection of hand-dipped ice cream. The ice cream is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. There is a small play area for young children that also includes picnic tables. There is the opportunity to see cows and calves up close. That is... More

When I first moved to this area, a number of people asked if we had been to Hopkins Dairy. It took me a while to make it out there, even though the drive is not terribly far. But once I did it became a regular place to take houseguests. While it only takes about 20 minutes to get to the... More

They are a working farm, just off a busy road. You order at a counter and then walk around to the delivery windows. They have a decent range of flavors with a few specials/seasonals as well. The ice-cream is creamy goodness, at the right level of sweetness. They have the standard variety of cones (wafer, sugar and waffle for a... More

Fantastic premium ice cream at a reasonable price. Drawback is the "farm smell" of the animals on the surrounding property.

We had the mistaken impression that the dairy operation was visible and featured at this location, but aside from a couple of barns and a field. The ice cream is good and the flavors were standard. The cone (wafer) was terribly stale. It had zero crunch and was gummy. It was a humid day but these were well past their... More

I really hate giving them only 3 stars because the ice cream I had was excellent but the cone they put it in was stale and somewhat soggy. Perhaps it was the high humidity but you would think they would say "we don't recommend..." if that were the case. Also my husband is diabetic and there was only one option... More

The Hopkins Farm is very well known. Ice Cream is supreme-but expensive. The lines get way too long for me. Families stop there with kids.

If you want good, rich ice cream ,this is the place. Very busy at night but worth it. Favors are vast, shakes are so thick you can not use a straw. Good portions. Room to sit but cow smell can be strong on hot nights.
