great ice cream

The Hopkins Farm is very well known. Ice Cream is supreme-but expensive. The lines get way too long for me. Families stop there with kids.

I really hate giving them only 3 stars because the ice cream I had was excellent but the cone they put it in was stale and somewhat soggy. Perhaps it was the high humidity but you would think they would say "we don't recommend..." if that were the case. Also my husband is diabetic and there was only one option... More

If you want good, rich ice cream ,this is the place. Very busy at night but worth it. Favors are vast, shakes are so thick you can not use a straw. Good portions. Room to sit but cow smell can be strong on hot nights.

OK, if you like, enjoy, better yet LOVE, ice cream then this is a must visit place. Basically it's a family farm with an ice cream side business. There are about twenty-five flavors, all home made. Cones, Sunday's, sodas, and other ice cream treats are available. Much better than anything you can buy at the store. In my opinion they... More

Great tasting ice cream, we loved it so much we had to go back the next day. Black raspberry is my favorite although the cappuccino was also great.

We decided very late in the evening to get some ice cream and drove from downtown Lewes to Hopkins Farm Creamery not even certain if they'd be open after 10:30 p.m. Happy happenstance! They were open and I was able to get my Black Raspberry milkshake! Love in a styrofoam cup! Go there and get something yummy!

My husband and I passed this Creamery a few times going to the Beaches. I had commented how there were always so many people there and wondered why. Well..we decided to pull in the parking lot and see.... There were so many people in cars with different state license plates...now I was intrigued! And then we found an amazing assortment... More

I LOL when reading other reviews of this dairy. First, the ice cream is amazing! Maybe the best I've ever had. That said, the creamery is right there on the dairy farm with the cows (dosent get any fresher!) and yes! The cows stink! Plus, many of the reviewers are tourists to the area & come in July or August.... More
