My husband and enjoy stopping in this art studio when we are visiting Lewes. We love to view his extraordinary art pieces as they are filled with light. He is a gifted artist and has an amazing talent in capturing the essence of light in each scene. His pieces bring calm and tranquility to a world that rages on. The artist is a delight to talk with as he brings unique perspectives to art and current events. Definitely, a must to stop in and soak up the breath of fresh air.

Abraxus is a wonderful artist who clearly loves what he does. Its evident in his own works, as well as in his teaching. Very highly recommend checking out his stuff!

I enjloy Abraxas' art for it's taste and detail that transport me to wherever he has travelled. But I have to say I enjoy just speaking to this wonderful young man who is so willing to discuss his art and share his experiences while demonstrating genuine humiity. I suspect he cannot always be in his small studio, but if he is, don't pass up a great opportunity to conenct. We enjoy owning one of his works and have travelled to see the scene he painted in person from the same vantage point he explained to us. It was the best art appreciation experience since we visited France and saw VanGough's work next to the sites that he painted. If, like me, you are amazed at the eye and talant of artists, treat yourself to a visit to this small gallery and hope that this charming man is there to great you.

I currently have two pieces of art by Abraxas. They are so gorgeous and always get tons of compliments from guests. His usage of light is phenomenal. Too beautiful for words! Thank you, I can’t wait to collect more!

Felt, as an art lover, I had to visit.
Big disappointment as the art was mediocre at best.
The pictures were very expensive and just not worth it.

Exquisite little art studio with a master artist. We could see Abraxas with work in progress in addition to completed works of near and far places and people.
He was very congenial and thoughtful allowing us much of his time.
His art shows a depth of effort; an understanding of the art process and an emotional affinity to his subjects.

My husband and I were in Lewes this weekend, visiting friends who have a house nearby. We went into Abraxas Studio of Art and I fell in love with this artist's work - only to find that the man at the counter was the artist himself! This is a wonderful chance to see beautiful prints and paintings - many landscapes, seascapes and still lifes - and hear the artist himself talk about the subject and the experience of creating that particular piece of art. This is a rare opportunity and I say don't miss this if you are in Lewes and enjoy looking at art. Abraxas is very friendly and will quickly answer questions or offer information - you can see his enthusiasm to educate people and share his love of art. He also offers instruction and of course there is the chance to buy a print or painting in the studio.
There is a small wooden patio with a bench outside the studio - just in case you need a few minutes to sit as you make a decision or if you happen to be with someone who's finished looking before you are. And, don't miss the door handle that's made to look like a paintbrush as you enter - just a touch of whimsy as you enter this special spot!
