The 1st thing I was impressed with was the terminal in Lewes. Clean, easy access with many amenities. Includes dinning, bar, shopping. The restaurant is right on the water with outdoor seating. I'm told people go there just to dine. Food supposed to be good and appears to be a great atmosphere. As far as the ferry, very clean and... More

Twice a year I take my granddaughter who is now five on the ferry just for the ride. We'll usually mill around Cape May until it time to go back. We absolutely love our adventures. The view is relaxing and several times we saw dolphins. We usually sit outside (after Nana has her adult beverage) to feel the cool mist... More

It was a pleasant enjoyable ride on the ferry between the two states. It is the only way to travel. Go early in the morning either coming or going.

Great adventure to relax, watch dolphins swimming and possibly take a shortcut if you are headed to Virginia . The food that you can buy is fair, but you can hand feed the French fries to incoming sea gulls

We decided to ride our bikes from Rehoboth Beach to Lewes & got our tickets for the ferry. It was our first time going on the ferry and everyone was so helpful! We got a discount using our AAA travel cards. Going over, we enjoyed the flat screen TVs and comfortable chairs. Coming back from Cape May- we had two... More

Well, its a ferry, it moves, it is on time. There isn't much else to say about this kind of travel. Book early if you are taking a car.

I really enjoyed my ride on the ferry. I purchased my tickets in advance so there was minimal wait in line. The pier waiting area is really nice with a bar and food for purchase in Cape May, NJ. The ride was relaxing and I slept the whole way there and back. They have these nice adirondack chairs to relax... More

It was the first time for my family to ride the ferry. I had travelled it years ago! It was awesome! Everyone was very nice and friendly including the bartender! He was a hoot! He made us feel at home and because of him the ride went very fast! Very enjoyable and I highly recommend it if you are travelling... More

My husband and I find the ferry relaxing on the way to Delaware and New Jersey. The people are pleasant. I wish it was a non smoking ferry. Smoking is allowed outside but still can be annoying to non smokers.

The Cape May - Lewes Ferry trip was awesome! There was a great love band on the top deck along with a bar where that served excellent local beer on tap from the Cape May Brewing company! The ride was about 90 minutes and was wholly enjoyable!

Hi Greek Shamrock, Thanks for riding with us! It sounds like you lucked onto one of our Friday or Sunday concert cruises! We host them every week in the summer from both terminals, but sometimes people just end up on the crossing with us :). Hope you can join us again soon! Cheers to the summer!
