Due to a rainy, not-so-beachy day, I visited this small, two-story building that contains interesting tidbits around local maritime history. In particular, it focuses on a Dutch vessel called the DeBraak and her crew, on the downstairs level of the museum. There are some artifacts...More

Super informed staff. Hold historic tours in the local area as well. Very interesting to learn the history of the area as it was settled in the 1600-1800's. Love this historic dutch structure too!

Worth a visit, don't expect much, building is not historic, has a few artifacts takes all of 10 minutes. The gardens around the building are beautiful.

Worth a visit if you want to understand the early history of Lewes. They have nautical exhibits showing Debark material and late 18th century artifacts.

It was 100% my mistake, went in thinking it was an historic building. It was built in the 30's. Has interesting things to see, but not, in my opinion, worth a special visit. If you are in Lewes, stop in.

The previous answer is correct and complete. Off season, there are plenty of on street parking spot near and around the museum.
