Wow! When I first passed by this museum all i thought was "its just a barn? it so small" well i can officially retract that statement! This museum was a very interesting experience with alot of different exhibits and the 1890s village gives a time travel trip to experience the lifestyle back in the 1800s. You will not be disappointed

A nice walk around both inside the building and outside of old agriculture vehicles and implements. Stop outside to see Lulu the pig. Nominal charge to visit.

The staff is very friendly, and the grounds are very child-friendly for exploration. Many of the exhibits have pieces that children are allowed to touch, and the live animals are friendly as well.

I'm a former teacher and we took our classes to the Ag Museum during "A Farmer's Spring." Knowing that our groups were coming the volunteers were quite accommodating and informative. The children got to see how things were "back in the day." The public is invited for this and they also have "A Farmer's Christmas." I do believe you can... More

Lots of interesting memorabilia and artifacts of farming past. Terrific for anyone who spent time on a farm in the fifties or sixties or even earlier; we were there. Good presentation for those who didn't to get a feeling for those times. Too cold for me to go outside, but I heard the village was well done too.

I had so much fun here. I originally thought this was a free museum, but it's not. The cost was low for us. It was $6 per adult. Not a bad price for all there is to see! There is a big, inside museum with all kinds of models, items from the past including tractors and mowers that were used... More

I never expected an Agricultural Museum to be so interesting and educational. We enjoyed the inside exhibits with the antique farm equipment and fun facts on soil, agriculture and animals. The outside village was the highlight. Every building was so authentic, you really got a true feeling of what it must have been like a century ago. Pick a day... More

My 94 year old mother and I visited the Delaware Agricultural Museum in September and loved every minute. As descendants of those who had been in Delaware since at least the late 1700's, we had seamen and merchants-- even a minister-- but not any farmers to speak of. We loved learning about the history of the land and farming in... More

This museum was a very interesting exhibit in the middle of Downtown Dover, Delaware! My husband & I were both raised on farms in Ohio and we were visiting our son in Delaware in September 2015. I found this museum online and was very surprised at all the historical facts for many different time periods. Farm equipment, tools, many buildings... More

Wow! Many, many exhibits to see and enjoy. We loved the way each building was set set up for the time period being represented. The hand carving exhibit is exceptional by itself. Having the pig and chicken there for petting was an added treat. So many exhibits. When visiting make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to see everything.... More
