It's Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Tg.pinang-Letung-Tarempa. From Tarempa-Letung-Tg.pinang is Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Both are usually depart at 7am.It took 8 to 10 hours by ferry. I do advice to book the ticket one or two weeks before departure date since the seats are limited. For more information you can contact (0771) 318439 or (0771) 318440 or handphone number... More

I spent a week in Anambas and whilst I'm pretty well-travelled, I found the archipelago unique in many ways, not the least of which the fact that it seems to have its own zeitgeist. The moment you set foot on the Anambas shores, you're instantly transported back to perhaps 50-100 years ago. Not so much in terms of development mind... More

Definitely one of Southeast Asia's most spectacular coastal spots! Various beautiful fishes, green and blue color of the sea, away from the City (literally). I do some snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and other water activities! I love to come back.

these islands are the best I have encountered. The coral reefs are as dense as a forest. Visibility better than anywhere I have been in SE Asia, including Sipadan Sabah.

My review was based on numerous visits to Palmatak Island, with an extensive live aboard experience on some steel platforms somewhere 30-45 mins heli ride from Palmatak airport. One can arrange a flight to Palmatak from Tanjung Pinang or a ferry from Tanjung Pinang to Tarempa (the capital of Anambas). I flew directly from Halim Perdana Kusuma in Jakarta to... More

Hope to visit and do the same activity again... More

aching Anambas Islands is not the easiest destination but definitely worth all the efforts. A low budget way is the take a ferry from Tanjung Pinang to Letung (~327.000 ird) or Tarempa (~402.000 ird). The trip lasts around 10 hours, the ferry is fast and air-conditioned. It leaves for Anambas on Tuesday and Thursday every week (information from 29.03.15). In... More

After spending almost a week in Anambas, to be precise, Pulau Jemaja, in the village of Letong, I can conclude that CNN was absolutely right in calling this part of the world the most beautiful of the whole of Asia. It really is utterly breathtaking. The area has unbelievable sea water clarity, It's almost gin-like. One of our group called... More
