Theses islands have got to be some of the most beautiful we have ever seen! And the seaplane to get to Bawah, showed it all off perfectly!

If you want to see real paradise, you definitely must come to Tarempah and from here take a Ponponh (the local fishermen boat) and go to one of the 150 islands around here!

Awesome experience in Anambas on an expedition to explore new dive sites and meet with the local villages of Kiabu and Telaga. Diving is fantastic, black tip sharks, barracuda, turtles, parrot fish, and stunning coral reefs. Even better than the diving were the people. Heartwarming.

Anambas Island getting there... (5 Replies)
Hi, Does anyone know the name of the fast speedboat company which travels to the Anambas Islands. I'm trying to organize a holiday there for myself and my family (Husband, 2yr old and 5 yr old). Is the accommodation easy to find? Any help gratefully received, Thank you, Katy

Hi Katy, I just returned from there and can tell you all about it if you want... I would not recommend to bring young children on the ferry. The ferry is the pure horror. Overfilled by as much as 70 people clogging corridors and being without swim vests, the ferry departs late, arrives late and is scheduled so that no connection to Singapore on the same is day possible. 1 toilet was available for 150++ people with was flooded and truly disgusting. Transport of severely injured people also...More
