Friendly staff, flat course, wide well kept fairways. Water on most holes but only a few require hitting over water. Enjoyable round of golf. It was cool and windy the day we played. Relatively easy course as far as a difficulty rating.
Pros - uncrowded. Cons- remote not worth the drive just for golf. Stay for lunch or dinner. Both were great!

Our annual vacation always includes this course. Last year we had 28 golfers and they all enjoy playing this course. We will be there again this year the first Wednesday in May and look forward to playing it again.

What a great course with a fun, challenging layout. Beautiful grounds and visually pleasing surroundings. Problem was, service was not at all up to par and the greens were in terrible condition. Pace of play was very good but we never saw the beer cart person! Tried to order food ahead of time from #8 and no one answered. The clubhouse was huge but the bar/food area for the golfers was tiny and understaffed. I will be back to give them another swing at it...hoping for the best.

Our 4some had a tee time today at 1130am. Arriving at 1040 we planned to hit some balls and putt before our start time. We each paid for range balls and warmed up. While 3 of us had gone to the putting green, one was still on the range when an employee came over and told us that a group had not showed up, and we were next up on the tee. We still were putting and our 4th was just heading over to the putting green when another employee drove up and said he would show us the way to the 1st tee. In short, I felt rushed as it was still way before our scheduled tee time. This was mentioned to the ranger on the 15th hole when he asked how we enjoyed the course. After our round when I checked with the pro, the message had not been passed to the him and his attitude and response did not make me feel as though it mattered to him. There were many ways he/they could have changed the feeling I had but there were no attempts to do so. Don't think I will return.

Very professionally maintained and priced for the average golfer, this course should be on your list. Staff is very helpful. Course and neighborhood are beautiful. Easy parking. Well maintained. Challenging but not overwhelming.
Friendly residents. Restaurants (two) and tavern. The whole place is geared to and caters to golfers. It just feels right. Enjoy a great day on the golf course and catch an excellent meal.

This is the 4th time we've played this course and it keeps getting better each time we play. The course is surrounded by a 55+ community with nice houses and great views. We love the layout which can be challenging, water comes into play on at least half the holes.
The course was in very good condition to include the tee boxes, fairways and greens.
The greens were running a bit slower than normal when we played there on 4/30/17, but they rolled true.
The staff is always very courteous and friendly and the price to play is reasonable for the course and conditions you get.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone who enjoys a scenic and challenging Arthur Hills layout.

We were staying at the state park next door and we went golfing to kill time. The equipment rental is quite run down and dated. The course is an easy one. The club house is nothing but 5 folding tables and a few chairs.
