Very nice layout

Played Black and Grizzly nines. Both are fine layouts. Extremely courteous and friendly staff. Most of the course was in great shape, though a few greens were a bit rough, but still quite playable. Look forward to coming back.

Any problems with nats or mosquitoes around the ponds in September????

Answer

Not anything unusual for the DE/MD/PA region. Mosquitoes/nats after dark but they are not present in the day. I will note that 80-90% of the units and homes have a screened in porch so check out the pics of you are renting.

Hi everyone, This will be our first visit to the Delaware beaches. We have 3 kids 4,6 and 7. Besides the beach and pool (staying at Bear Trap Dunes), are there other activities good for young kids? Thanks!

Location of Playgrounds and Pools at Bear Trap Dunes (1 Reply)

Hello, I am plaaning to rent a townhouse in the Bear Trap Dunes community for my family's summer vacation. In trying to choose a unit, I would like to find one close to a playground and outdoor pool. If there is anyone who is familiar with the community, I would appreciate street names/locations. Thanks for your help! Cheryl

Probably too late with reply, but we stayed here last year and will return this year. The playground is I think near Tulip Poplar (our children too old so didn't use it) The main pool is near the main entrance (lots of parking available or bike it) with another pool halfway down October Glory. You can map it or google earth to get a really good idea of location of units. Beautiful resort, convenient for things but really peaceful.
