We needed a break from the beach, so decided to check it out. It's definitely geared to younger kids, and they had a great time. It was a nice short trail with a scavenger hunt, and then there were things to see and pictures to color in the house. It's worth seeing if you need a quick, inexpensive break from... More

We took our almost 2 year old and he loved it. The trail is short but that's perfect for him. We also spent time at the playground and it was great because it wasn't crowded and he loved playing around on it. We went inside when it opened and got to see a little bit of the special guest before... More

There is a museum, a playground for children, ample parking and a short walk thru the wetlands. Osprey nests with birds on them. Watch osprey fish and bring back food to the little ones. Lots of birds. Nice path and decked walkway. Benches along the way. A very pleasant shore experience for all ages.

We were looking for a place for the kids on a day filled with scattered showers (aka not a good beach day). They had a great time doing the scavenger hunt on the trail, creating an osprey mask, watching the turtles, and reading nature books. What a great find!

Small house with some activities for children, with turtles, frogs, and little fish. Nice garden, playground and a small trail outside.

This is a nice little nature center. It has a few hands on activities as well as fish & frog tanks in the lovely historic house. Beautiful, well preserved and maintained tract of land with a short trail out to the marsh where there are at least 3 osprey nests currently with chicks being attended by the parents. We also... The staff was knowledgeable. There were activities inside that would be great for kids and it is also a good learning experience. Outside there are some well-maintained trails that are good for some easy walking.

This was the third attempt at taking our grand children there but for the third time....luckily with different grandchildren we found the facility closed. We did enjoy the walk around the nature area and the children enjoyed playing in the play area equipped with fun, safe equipment.

Beautiful building and items to see in nature center. Friendly host told us about scavenger hunt on the trail. Lots of ospreys, birds, fish and tadpoles. Great kid activity.
