Sept. Took my granddaughter and her parents to see the turtle aquiaum.

My granddaughter liked seeing the turtles. The big tv screen was working too. We walked the path to see the Osprey nests. It was a hot 90 degree day.

My husband is an avid bird fan and I am a photographer, so we both look for opportunities for getting out in nature. The trail at the nature center takes you into a wooded area, past a pond with a deck, then on to a raised boardwalk that takes you out into a marsh. We saw many birds - lots... More

We recently took the four children from our two families here. It's a perfect spot for little ones as you can spend as little as close 30 minutes here or as long as you want. The host in the center was nice, polite, enjoyed telling us about three Abby house and enjoyed being around the kids. The house itself has... More

Enjoyed exploring, it's not huge but it's a nice walk and took some great pictures. Plus you can take your dog too.

We needed a break from the beach, so decided to check it out. It's definitely geared to younger kids, and they had a great time. It was a nice short trail with a scavenger hunt, and then there were things to see and pictures to color in the house. It's worth seeing if you need a quick, inexpensive break from... More

We took our almost 2 year old and he loved it. The trail is short but that's perfect for him. We also spent time at the playground and it was great because it wasn't crowded and he loved playing around on it. We went inside when it opened and got to see a little bit of the special guest before... More

There is a museum, a playground for children, ample parking and a short walk thru the wetlands. Osprey nests with birds on them. Watch osprey fish and bring back food to the little ones. Lots of birds. Nice path and decked walkway. Benches along the way. A very pleasant shore experience for all ages.

We were looking for a place for the kids on a day filled with scattered showers (aka not a good beach day). They had a great time doing the scavenger hunt on the trail, creating an osprey mask, watching the turtles, and reading nature books. What a great find!

Small house with some activities for children, with turtles, frogs, and little fish. Nice garden, playground and a small trail outside.
