Late night golf

We had a great time golfing, I was almost 10pm, but we wanted to fit in one more last active before we went back home!

Staff is always nice and the course is good. But... Seeing as it is the only outdoor golf in Bethany you must realize you will have to wait in between holes. Also at like 9:30-10 they have to turn off the light for the people who live right next door. Could you possibly just get some landscaping lights? That would... More

This is a nice enough mini-golf. It won't blow your mind. It has enough unique holes to keep you interested but because of its small foot print it feels a little cramped. It was busy when we went so you always felt on top of one another, but it also moved right along, unlike some bigger places in OC where... More

Captain Jack's is the only option in Bethany and it was great on a Sunday morning. There were only a few other families on the course so it was fine to play a slow 18 holes with my niece and nephew. If you are going at a busier time I imagine it would get really crowded, very quickly. There is... More

Captain Jack's is a staple for our annual visit to Bethany Beach. It's well maintained, well managed and a lot of fun for the kids (and the adults too). It's not a big course and you can experience some delays, but since you're on vacation its expected and adds to the experience. No resort town at the beach shouldn't have... More

This is a fun miniature golf course, well laid-out and challenging despite its small dimensions. They have made the most of what they have, but it could benefit greatly from just a few more spots to wait for the next hole-- benches, little shaded areas, etc. We had a really fun time, though, and will definitely be back next trip!

What a blast. It's conveniently located and a quick walk from the boardwalk. The place is well kept up and clean. It's tiny, but isn't that why they call it miniature golf?

18 holes in a small space, and can get crowded - especially at night. However, we played mid-afternoon during the week and were only 2 others on course. Fun diversion.

Eight of us went to play miniature golf and we found it to be tiny! Each hole is nice enough, but there is noplace to hang out to watch or wait for the next hole if it's not free yet. The up side is that it's right in Bethany Beach so you can walk to it after getting ice cream... More

We have been staying in Bethany long enough to recall when Captain Jack's was being built and were so excited to have a mini golf course right in the downtown area. This is a fun but not too tough course for kids and this year the owners installed misting fans throughout the first part of the course, which can be... More
