Lum's pond has shady walking trails and lots of wildlife-if you know where to look. Look in the ditches by the paved walks for little snakes, off the bridges for turtles, along the edges of the pond for herons. You can rent a canoe or paddle boat andn see little birds in the trees. If you're there at the right... More

The park was nice, but the bathrooms were disgusting :( There was no apparent ventilation system and it smells terribly of urine (imagine the stench of 3 portable potties), floor was wet (who knows what with what), toilet paper was thrown all over the floor, toilet seats weren't clean. It just looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned for awhile.

My cooking club recently had a picnic at Lums Pond State Park. We selected an area near the entrance and had a clean picnic table, access to grills, and clean restrooms. There are pavilions for large groups, hiking and biking trails, campsites, kayaking, paddle boards, zip lines, plenty of space for many activities, and even an off-leash dog beach. There... More

We stayed here for two weeks while visiting relatives. This is a great state park; a great place to camp...trails to walk, kayaking and a zip line. The sites are paved with full hook-ups. Accomodated our 40' fifth wheel nicely. Interior roads are also paved. Most lots are shaded.

This was a stopover heading up the East Coast. Sites were newly paved, mostly level (although some were sloped so be selective). Would definitely stay here again.

I don't remember the fee to get in its a few dollars I believe for in state. I have been kayaking, good size pond, however not... More

I like going kayaking in Lums Pond. Some people complain about the water quality, but I like the area's easy access, the nature (you will often see heron and egrets), and the pleasure of being on water, watching the sun reflecting off it's surface, and feeling a gentle wind across my face. It can get a little crowded on the... More

Inside of yurt was nice. There is about electric outlets. Yurt has a big floor fan, a ceiling fan, light fixture (no lamp needed), an air conditioner, a broom and a dustpan. ** no water spigot near*** **Canoe comes with yurt rental*** ** just a few steps away from the pond** **plenty of dried wood and branches along the trail...
