I was planing a whole day at the eco park. It should have involved zip lining, waterfall rappelling and hiking. It was all pre-arranged and booked (perfect correspondences in English) including transportation from and into Medellin and lunch. Unfortunately, when we got there it was heavily raining and the law cloud cover did not allow to enjoy the view let alone to engage in the planned activities. The reason I am writing this review is to highlight the park amazing customer service. Customer service is evaluated when push comes to shove, when things go wrong. In this case it was not even their fault. The weather sucked. The park coordinator, Juan, was all apologetic and did not charge me for any of the planned activity not for the transfer that was conducted or the lunch that was ordered. It was customer service at it best and I want to take this opportunity and thank him and the park. One day I am sure to go back there to do my planned activities, but I would recommend anyone who is looking for extreme activities in an amazing wild nature and waterfall setting to contact them for a full and amazing service and experience.

I was there by myslef not knowing what to expect. The place is about 30 minutes drive from La Ceja and the road unfolds under both on - and - off road surface conditions. It is very doable though. When you get there you pay a 3000 pesos fee the entrance. You can get lunch at the place and check the beautifil waterfall and mountains landscape from a cool view point. If you are up for more, you can pay from 50 to 60 thousand pesos to gor for the canopy experience. It's amazing! You cross a 330 mts high canyon with the excitement the view and the adrenaline brings. Once there ,you can enjoy a beer ( included in the ticket) and/or a nice coffee from the finca. The tour to the waterfall starts at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Get ready to get soaking wet and bring a protecto for your cellphone to get cool pictures ( mine almost died). You need to be in good shape to do the hiking since the area is really steep and slippery down the waterfall. Something important is to ask locals the quickiest entrance to the park. There is one you have to go all the way around and the road might get muddy if it rains. I chose the shorter one at an intersection to the right. Keep an eye on the signs!

We went with our 7 and 9 year olds. We stayed the night in the Finca on the far side, which is the entrance closer to the town of Abejoral. You definitely need a vehicle with high ground clearance and 4x4 to get down the road. The cabaña was lovely, surrounded by fruit trees and a beautiful view. The kitchen was well equipped to make a basic dinner and breakfast. The hike down to the falls is challenging, but our kids our used to hiking and camping so they had no issues. Good hiking shoes are a must and if you don't want to get too wet take a rain jacket with you. The falls are powerful and so beautiful, especially all the incredible vegetation that surrounds the area. We'll be going back to experience the other side as well since our 9 year did NOT want to do the zip line, although my 7 year and I went across the zip line just for the experience. It was really amazing and perfectly safe.
