Beautiful place to walk or to take a picnic, gorgeous views of Long Island Sound. The beach is really pretty. There is also a nature center open in season. Carload passes available.

If you visit this park in the fall or spring you are going to enjoy the place. It has nice paved paths along the shore and next to the grass fields. During the season they charge for parking and it gets pretty crowded and noisy.

It's main attraction is the 9-11 Memorial. Pulls at your heart strings and begs for reflection. Many easy to walk hiking trails. Beautiful Long Island sound views. Friendly people. They all said Hi. Pleanty of parking spots. Worth more than one visit.

Great walking paths. Windy in winter months. Be advised that in the off season facilities are limited to one "family" bathroom.

This is a terrific Conn state park, with Ct's 9/11 memorial. You can enjoy the beach, the playfields picnic sites to have a terrific day and right off of Exit 18 of I-95

This is a peaceful state park with very moderate crowds and a great view. It's also nice in the off season, when the Connecticut weather suggests long walks on the beach without a plunge into the water,

Something for everyone and every season. Really nice picnic areas, although some benches/tables are pretty shot. Very decent parking and easy to access off I-95. Beach is pretty decent and you can take a nice walk through the park to walk off those hot dogs...More

We had never been here and were nearby and decided to visit. It is fall so there was no charge for entry. There is a runway and area for flying radio controlled planes. It was fun to watch. The beach is broad and compact with...More

We have gone there just to walk and see the water and also for the ALS Associations "Walk for the Cure." Thanks! Most trails are paved and easy to use. Sights are always lovely. There is also the 9/11 Memorial which is nice to see.

Being on the "sound" it a protected waterway. There are no waves. It is however a wonderful beach in an upscale CT town.

Dogs are allowed starting October 1. Its's a good size park and there are walking trails that you can take your dog on. I've been there with my dog and it's been really nice. Hope you enjoy your time there.
