A great place with lots of things to do. Animals, 2 play areas, a maize maze and a nature walk. We all had a good time and it was excellent value for money as well.

I live locally and enjoy visiting here. The play ground is a big hit with the kids, it's spacious and has lots of picnic benches nearby. Good selection of animals and the place is kept very clean and tidy. There's a nice little walk through the fields down to a woods with fairy forest. A lovely day out especially when the sun is out. My main recommendation for the place is to start doing an annual pass! I don't know why they do not do this. I go once, maybe twice a year but would be happy to spend more and have an annual pass, they are really missing out on huge revenue by not doing this. There is a system of a free visit when you buy X amount - not a great offer though.

This was the usual farm visit - penned animals, playground, maze and coffee shop. The kids (7 and 10) were bored after 20 mins. €27 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Definitely not worth it. For young kids only.

Had a fab day out in Glenroe farm yesterday. Plenty of animals out to see and talk to. I had a 4 and 2 year with me they loved it. I'm of the age where I remember Glenroe on tv. Great value €22 for 2 adults and 4 year old, little one was free. Coffee shop is great value with lovely made to order sandwiches and plenty of picnic spots to have our own picnic. Loved it Thank you.

Glenroe Farm provides a great day out for kids - they have lots of animals for the children to see, a huge playground and green space and a super fairy trail.

My favourite has to be the deer - the kids loved feeding them long grass :)

There are plenty of benches for picnics and the cafe offers a good choice of sandwiches & cakes.

On a sunny day, it's idyllic

We go here regularly with our daughter and always have an amazing time. She loves all of the animals especially the rabbits and Guinea pigs that you can hold. The playgrounds are great too and offer a wide range of equipment. The animals are all well looked after and the facilities are clean and perfectly maintained.

We had never been there before. There's plenty of free parking and just a short walk to the farm shop.€7.50 for adults we'd a baby with us and he was free. You get a map of the farm on entry. When you walk out of the shop the entire Glenroe set is in front of you. (Dinnys house) Your free to walk in around the house and sheds. In Dinnys house there's a history of Glenroe set out and there's stuffed animals on display. Just a short walk from the house to a fenced play ground for small children. Just passed that is the tea room and toilets. The tea room is nice and clean and reasonable priced. The toilets good do we a revamp. Passed that there's a rabbit petting house. Good fun for the kids. Then your on your way to rest of farm animals. It's well layed out so as you don't miss anything. There's another fenced play ground for bigger kids. There's a field of maze that you can get lost in.( It's easy to get back out of) If you want to feed the animals bring some carrots we saw other people bringing carrots in. We saw baby pigs and lamb's too. Just to mention some but there's loads more animals to see. Well worth a visit. There's no time limit at the farm stay as long as you like. A good family day out.
