It was the best choice that we could have for holiday. Safari is the best experience that we ever had, and it was perfect only thanks to our tourist guides: overland safaris. From the beginning, making the reservation, we had great communication, they answered all our questions. They are very reliable and professional. They provided us with transport and the hotel before and after safari. Our driver and guide: Edith was great and knew answer to every question. Also, our cook: Action was the best that happened to us. Meals were simple but always delicious, and we didn't have any stomach problems. And the most important: safari was wonderful, we saw so many animals, we managed to catch Big Five. And again: this happened only because of experience and skill of our guide. We can highly recommend this tour and this company to everyone. It's worth every penny.

Our 12 day Tanzania cultural tourism and game drives safari was amazing! Every National Park was different. We visited Arusha NP., Tarangire NP, Lake Manyara NP, Lake Natron NP, Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro Conservation Area . Probably our favorites were Arusha NP, our first park where we saw so many animals and birds; Lake Manyara where again we saw such an interesting collection of birds and animals including mating hippos in the lake; and of course, Serengeti NP with it's wide open spaces, big cats, wildebeest and many, many more. We saw all the big animals on the trip except the leopard and 140ish kinds of birds. We saw 3 cheetah brothers following jackals. We saw a black mamba climbing a tree where vervet monkeys were yelling at him. We say an albino baboon. Our guide/driver, Richard was so knowledgeable about all the wildlife and had an eagle eye. Willy, our organizer, had every detail planned perfectly. OUr accomodations were nicer than we ever could have imagined with excellent food , all meals included. We also spent a day visiting Haadzabe and Datoga Tribes who were very welcoming showing us their lifestyles. We spent a day with a Maasai guide at Lake Natron seeing local birds and learning about the Maasai tradtions. We enjoyed every minute of the trip even though the roads were often challenging due to heavy rains before our trip. We liked fording the rivers in the Cruiser. The Land Cruiser and Richard took them all in stride. We would highly recommend this trip and Overland Safaris and would be happy to communicate with anyone who would like to hear more about it. My husband and I were th only ones on this particular safari . Willy went above and beyond toward the end of our trip to help us make new arrangements to fly out of Arusha since our trip was cut short (finished safari but couldn't go on to Zanzibar due to covid). Truly a great company.

William is a thief , charlatan and LIAR - at first he tells you everything is confirmed as per itinerary, but after countless emails and Skype calls gradually you find that accomodation slips into much cheaper hotels , a whole lot of meals aren’t provided , nor the activities in Zanzibar . The safari itself was great ( no thanks to William ) but our dealings with him have been extremely stressful , and we were uncertain when we arrived in Arusha whether there would even be a safari . A big issue was the airfare from Arusha to Zanzibar , as when we queried this , at first he was vague but finally confirmed it was included in the costing.. On our arrival in Arusha he tried to bully us into repaying him for the airfare , and became very difficult from that point on. It turned out ha cancelled our last night in Zanzibar , all meals and activities except for transfers to our hotel and the Spice Farm tour. We have never experienced such gross inefficiency and dishonesty in 50 years of visiting Africa . He should be in Jail !

Mike and Ian, booked my safari itinerary into TripAdvisor, once they obtained my contacts, they cancelled the safari with TripAdvisor then they booked with me directly. Both of them were so difficulty to deal with, I remember even when we were talking on skype they tried not to understand everything i have booked for them, such as the luxury lodges and tented camp in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. I tried hard to make them understand, but they didn't, the flight from Arusha to Zanzibar was not included in the itinerary, but they didn't understand at all, they kept forcing me that the flight is included in the itinerary. They pushed me so hard to book the flight from Arusha to Zanzibar finally I purchased the air tickets from Arusha to Zanzibar for them for the agreement that when we meet in Arusha they will refund my money back, but they didn't. I expected that to receive my money back which i used to buy the air tickets from Arusha to Zanzibar, but they refused to pay me. I need both of them to check on this safari program published in TripAdvisor, if they will find anywhere i included the flight from Arusha to Zanzibar, no flight included in my programs into TripAdvisor. 10 DAY TANZANIA TENTED CAMPS SAFARI AND ZANZIBAR BEACH VACATION https://www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductReview-g297913-d17618476-10_DAY_TANZANIA_TENTED_CAMPS_SAFARI_AND_ZANZIBAR_BEACH_VACATION-Arusha_Arusha_Regi.html Finally this is not appropriate review here, I thought they needed to support the local but i was wrong. Because they cancelled the trip with TripAdvisor also I should have not accepted their booking. To the TripAdvisor teams, please remove this inappropriate review thanks. Willy the founder.
