We did the wine tasting for $12 which is a great value . The last wine that they offered was a red blend which was the best , it was excellent ! The only constructive thing I have to say is that the server that conducted our tasting kept reiterating the fact that you could not bring in your own... More

Great place to visit on a beautiful Connecticut afternoon! Lots of seating, bring your own chairs, just in case. Vineyard has gotten very popular, too crowded at times. Bring your own food, too.

This is our second.d visit to this beautiful winery. It was a hot beautiful summer day. Winery was very busy. Not only with tastings but with a variety of family style events. Love their wine. Sat and enjoyed a bottle of wine with cheese and crackers.

We arrived about 3pm on a beautiful day and at first we were intimidated to stay by the mass amount of cars that were parked. We were warmly welcomed and directed by the parking staff for an an available spot. Once we entered the tasting "room" it was full of energy! Get there early to establish an indoor spot as... More

This place is beautiful and I will go back in the Fall. The view of the vineyard and rolling hills of CT is not be missed. The reason I have only 3 stars: The tasting consists of 5 selections. They select 4 and you get to pick 1 - I want to taste what I want to taste. Also our... More

My neighbor suggested we try this vineyard as he has been many times and raved about it. My husband and I brought another couple with us who also enjoy vineyards and wine tastings. The view is incredible. The wine is better than a lot of other Connecticut wines. We did the tasting and were a little disappointed in the small... More

The view of the surrounding area makes Gouveia worthwhile to find. Although I live in Wallingford, I missed the turn because there wasn't a sign. Apparently, plenty of others had no problem finding it by the large crowd it attracts on a nice day. There are lots of chairs and tables outside as well as inside. Even though you bring... More

Spectacular views coupled with some great wine. The whites are good the reds are excellent. They stay open till eight and I imagine the sunsets are great.

The views are beautiful, the grounds gorgeous and the wine-delicious. Sit by the pond, on the expansive lawns, or at a table and chairs and enjoy the views and the delicious wines. Bring your own foods, sit inside if it's raining. Very popular and took about 15 mins for our wine taster ton get to us but definitely worth the... More
