This is a great little park with a nice trail to hike around the pond. The day we were there several people were using the pond, kayaking and such.

It’s 45 mins drive from Hartford between green trees around the road and people who don’t know swimming also can try kayaking in Burr pond as the depth is not more than 12 feet and relax in nature
