When we arrived their was appetizers and bottled water for us to have while we waited for the train. My husband and I went out and spoke to theh conducter and one of his assistants for some time. They were very friendly and had a lot of great stories they seemed happy to share. The ride was nice, smooth and fairly scenic, we had many tastings of chocolate paired with wine. We stopped at a Chocolate Shop and made our own bars and then journeyed back to the station. We had a wonderful evening and the price was very acceptable for what you recieve. We are excited about going on another evening out with this company. They seem to have many different excursions. Something for everyone.

The experience was good . I just thought it would’ve had The elf’s on board singing instead of just walking around looking tired and fake smiling. Instead of just sitting on the train waiting for Santa. All you hear is people talking and the music. I would’ve loved if they had activities or singing on board

We had a great time looking at all the trains and reading their history. The fall foilage ride was great also. It's interesting to see Connecticut from the different angle

This was a great event to do with children...they loved the train, and running around to get their pumpkins!

It's a really small place. Very nice staff. It's got some train cars to look at and some to walk through. The real appeal is the train rides. They offer a bunch of themed ones, and if one of them is up your alley go for it. The day that we were there they were offering both a wine train and a pumpkin patch train. Visit based on the train ride and just visit the museum while you're there. Entrance to the museum is free, the train rides are not.
