If you like to walk or run or bike on a paved trail this is a great journey. The canal you are traveling parallel to has a great aqueduct where you get to witness an excited water bridge halfway down the trail. Also be aware...More

You can make this as custom as you’d like. I’ve walked up to the Windsor Locks bridge and saw the Amtrak train above (very cool for my 5 yr old nephew!). We were stopped at the bridge because Eagles are protected here and nest until...More

A lovely walk along the Connecticut River and canal. Built in the 1800s by migrants, it now serves as a walking and bike path.

It's a beautiful bike ride between the Connecticut River and the canal. I leave from the Suffield end and always stop for a moment at the river lookout just to appreciate the river that we take for granted.
