About
Two Roads Brewing Company was founded in 2012 by four friends who dreamed for years of starting a craft brewery. We foster a “road less traveled” philosophy in the beers we make and how we make them. In that spirit, Phil Markowski, our award-winning Brewmaster and 27 year craft beer veteran has created an extensive lineup that takes a unique twist on classic beer styles. Two Roads was named one of the ten best breweries in America by Paste Magazine and has won many awards including gold for Belgian Lambic style Ale in 2016 at the Great American Beer Festival. Two Roads isn’t just the logo on our brewery building, it’s our philosophy. Life always seems to offer up two ways to go. It just so happens, we prefer the one less taken and having some fun along the way – in our lives, our careers and especially for our beers! Now our “road less traveled” philosophy is being brought to life in the beers that we create and how we create them.

Outside food trucks, outside picnic tables, fresh air, sounds like a lovely break on a road trip until you are turned away because - gasp! - your family is with you. Not only is it not family friendly inside, no one under 21 allowed anywhere “OUTSIDE”. Not a law, its their company policy. We’ll continue to purchase and visit other craft breweries - they certainly don’t want or need our dollars.

Pretty cool place and very large. I didn't see an elevator and there is a flight of stairs you have to take upstairs to the main big room. I felt a little bit like there needed to be music up there in that huge space, and the only comment I have is there were lots of rules. It just felt like we were given many rules the minute we got there. You need reservations too which we didn't realize, there were food trucks with finger foods. Servers were great but we didn't stay too long.

Not family friendly. No one under 21 allowed. This may be good for some but do not make the drive if love going to craft breweries and you expect to enjoy a beer tasting with your family on a road trip. Not a law, just their company policy. Two families turned away including us at the same time.

Lovingly restored US Baird Manufacturing building - what a great use and done perfectly--very comfortable!!!! Large beer selection. Friendly bartenders. Outdoor seating! Of two roads, take THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED! You never know what you'll find!

Went over Memorial Day weekend and to our surprised it was not as crowded as we expected. Started at the main hub and walked over to Area two. A big yard in-between both buildings with yard games and an outdoor beer tent. Picnic tables are outside and some food trucks as well. Area 2 has roof top seating and a very unique building. Looking forward to going back

During the pandemic the flights are already selected, I chose German & dark.
George chose IPA’s, there’s also fruited and, area two, area two is more of the sour IPA.
We very much enjoyed and appreciated, what the brew master created. Two thumbs up!!
I definitely recommend this place and I will return every time I visit Stamford Connecticut.
See attached pictures below,
ENJOY AND BE SAFE!!

My husband, infant daughter and I came on a Sunday to check out the beer and the tap room. However, we were unable to enjoy anything because we were told there are no children allowed.
What?!
I am super annoyed and disappointed that a brewery, known for mediocre beer, can’t be open minded enough like every other brewery in the state to let people bring their children.
No wonder the best beer that comes out of their brewery isn’t even theirs.

We were hoping to stop off here during our mini get away, and didn't have time until the next day. When I went in I was very fortunate to have Peter help me out with beer selection and grouping. I told him the flavors I do like of popular brews, and he knew what I would enjoy out of those similarities. The level of customer awareness, service, and taking the extra steps helped tremendously. It was simple and fast to make a decision on what to bring home. I highly recommend a visit and to include a tasting in your trip. You can do a tasting for a fee. You'll enjoy the sprawling hardwood floor that allows a clear view of the process below. Very happy with my purchases and the service. :-) Thank you!

My friend lives about a mile away and has never been here so we decided to give it a try. Have seen it at the Uconn football games. We got there and had a difficult time finding a parking space, but they had people helping you park. Didn't quite put two and two together but when we got to the bar area (up a rather long stairway) we were greeted by over 150 to 200 or more people. My friend and I had to be over thirty years older than anyone in the place, as no one seemed to be over thirty years old. With that said we did manage to squeeze in at a place at the bar and tried a few beers. Nothing seemed to stand out but it was truly a unique experience. College was over forty years ago, but this brought back a few memories.

I've been to the original Two Roads brewery several times and to their newer Area 2 brewery once. Every time has been great! I love the extensive beer list, always super unique and tasty! The prices can't be beat and the staff is incredibly friendly! I love that you can bring in food too!

No they do not. Sparkling soda is the only non-beer option.
