About
Two Roads Brewing Company was founded in 2012 by four friends who dreamed for years of starting a craft brewery. We foster a “road less traveled” philosophy in the beers we make and how we make them. In that spirit, Phil Markowski, our award-winning Brewmaster and 27 year craft beer veteran has created an extensive lineup that takes a unique twist on classic beer styles. Two Roads was named one of the ten best breweries in America by Paste Magazine and has won many awards including gold for Belgian Lambic style Ale in 2016 at the Great American Beer Festival. Two Roads isn’t just the logo on our brewery building, it’s our philosophy. Life always seems to offer up two ways to go. It just so happens, we prefer the one less taken and having some fun along the way – in our lives, our careers and especially for our beers! Now our “road less traveled” philosophy is being brought to life in the beers that we create and how we create them.

Families Not Welcome
Jul 2021 • Family
Outside food trucks, outside picnic tables, fresh air, sounds like a lovely break on a road trip until you are turned away because - gasp! - your family is with you. Not only is it not family friendly inside, no one under 21 allowed anywhere “OUTSIDE”. Not a law, its their company policy. We’ll continue to purchase and visit other craft breweries - they certainly don’t want or need our dollars.

Not for families - no one under 21 allowed!
Jul 2021 • Family
Not family friendly. No one under 21 allowed. This may be good for some but do not make the drive if love going to craft breweries and you expect to enjoy a beer tasting with your family on a road trip. Not a law, just their company policy. Two families turned away including us at the same time.

Pretty cool place
Jan 2021
Pretty cool place and very large. I didn't see an elevator and there is a flight of stairs you have to take upstairs to the main big room. I felt a little bit like there needed to be music up there in that huge space, and the only comment I have is there were lots of rules. It just felt like we were given many rules the minute we got there. You need reservations too which we didn't realize, there were food trucks with finger foods. Servers were great but we didn't stay too long.

Micro Flight
Dec 2020 • Friends
During the pandemic the flights are already selected, I chose German & dark.
George chose IPA’s, there’s also fruited and, area two, area two is more of the sour IPA.
We very much enjoyed and appreciated, what the brew master created. Two thumbs up!!

I definitely recommend this place and I will return every time I visit Stamford Connecticut.

Great experience

The woman seating people at the door was really rude. Besides that is was a great experience! Even during the times of COVID!

Must go
Sep 2020 • Couples
Awesome brewery, so glad we found it. It’s a huge place with so many different areas - area 1 taproom, outside seating, area 2. During the pandemic they are only taking reservations for inside and outside, nothing for area 2 which is their experimental area. Area 1 is so big they didn’t have to move tables for social distancing. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Outside was a lot of fun. It’s very spread out, Adirondack chairs in the grass. They have food trucks for both areas and they’re always pretty good. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgable about the beer. If you’re looking for more of a variety of beers, I would sit inside where they have more choices on tap. Be sure to make a reservation, they don’t take walk-ins.

At the Hopyard!
Jul 2020 • Couples
We had been missing Two Roads during the lockdown, and have now been several times to the reservation only “hopyard” outdoor area. The staff are awesome, working hard to make a safe, clean and above all, FUN experience for their guests. Ice cold “Cruise Control” Helles lager is our favorite, and they keep us topped up, even when the place is hopping and busy. New way to enjoy the great beer and people of Two Roads. The hopyard is a lovely garden, and with nice weather it is a terrific spot to hang out. The taproom is now open again, and it was great to also have a pizza from “Pizzaco “, the cool pizza joint across the street, and a beer or two with the friendly, hardworking staff inside. It’s the best of the many great breweries in CT, owing to the many good beers they make, and the best employees in the business, they are a real team!
Thanks everyone! See you soon!

Amazing beer!
Jun 2020
During COVID, they have implemented a new system where people are able to reserve a table and be served outdoors at tables 6 ft apart. It is great! Still the Two Roads experience with amazing beer, while still remaining safe during this time.

Love this place!!

I've been to the original Two Roads brewery several times and to their newer Area 2 brewery once. Every time has been great! I love the extensive beer list, always super unique and tasty! The prices can't be beat and the staff is incredibly friendly! I love that you can bring in food too!

Fun, laidback brewery
Jan 2019
I came here with friends to celebrate another friend's birthday, and it was the perfect spot for it. There's plenty of space without needing to reserve a private space, and all of the drinks on tap were delicious, with something for everyone. They have a big drinks menu, so there were plenty of opportunities to both try favorite drinks and still try something new. The brewery is in a converted factory, and the factory feel added to the ambiance. In warmer weather, they have a lawn where you can play games. We came here in the winter, so it was a bit more crowded indoors. They let us bring in snacks to celebrate the birthday, which was great of them.
