Located at the end of one lane street near the old lighthouse museum, this small beach is an easy gathering place of kids and sunbathers. You can watch the boats go by.

A very nice small beach at the end of Water Street. While there are no services at this beach, it's close enough to walk to one of the Water St. restaurants for a take out order. Parking lot fills up earlier than later on sunny...More

I visited in late August 2018, on a beautiful sunny day. Lots of families were there with kids who were playing in the sand. They were not swimming in the water as it was full of brown seaweed. It looked like everyone was having fun,...More

The Dubois Beach is on the Long Island Sound. It has parking and a sandy beach with flat water waves. There is a lookout point where on a clear day you can see 3 states.

this is a small private beach but one can use it with a small fee. There is a parking lot and lifeguard... it is a great beach for kids as it is shallow and user friendly

We stopped in Stonington to look out at the view. We could see Fisher Island and I believe the islands off New York from this point. The beach was clean and invited, wish we spent more time. Because we loved the view and this quaint...More

I live in the borough so I walk by here almost every day with my dog. The beach is almost at the end of the point and is a small, pleasant, clean, safe beach which has a lifeguard in the summer. There's a floating dock...More

Parking at the point is always free but fills up on busy summer days. There are other parking lots in the Borough, but they are a 10-15 minute walk from the beach. You may also be able to find on street parking. All of... More

Officially no, but many local people take their dogs there after hours or out of season. It's VERY important that you pick up after your dog if you do that.

This pretty little beach is open to the public during the day. There was a $10 per person fee this morning when we visited the beach.
