What another great addition to the Southington social scene. Admittedly we had initial intentions of visiting another brewery on a Saturday afternoon, but once we found that place to be packed to the gills, we opted to give Witchdoctor a try. I am selfishly glad that this place has remained somewhat undiscovered. It's located in a refurbished factory, which lends itself to a really cool Indie/alternative vibe with lots of open space to hang (indoor cornhole included!). At the same time there are plenty of alcoves to gather with a group of friends or relax with a significant other or even enjoy some personal solace! Many members on our party had varying interests in beer and the staff were exceptionally patient and knowledgeable helping to select our brews. Witchdoctor has a little something for everyone, even those who may not select beer as their first beverage of choice. We particularly liked JuJuJuice, but truthfully we fully appreciated their diverse line up. From ambers to lagers to saisons to IPAs to stouts they offer it all. They also offer alcohol free beverages as well as mixed drinks. There is even a large stack of games to choose from. I would love to come back and enjoy a trivia night or some of their live music offerings.

Witchdoctor has a prime location, with diverse beverage offerings (including a diversified beer selection), and a perfect atmosphere for spending some time away from home in a very cozy setting. Come check this place out!

Excellent space for big groups. Lots of games and fun stuff. Drinks are great and reasonably priced. Located in a really cute area, with great food nearby and fun activities!

I love enjoying local bands and comedy with my family and friends. Also can play pool and corn hole. They also added hard alcohol for those who don’t drink beer. You can bring in your own food which is fun when you are meeting friends.

Walked in big sign stating no bar service so we took a seat and were ignored for 20 minutes . Business must be better than it looked if they can ignore people . I liked it
better pre COVID when I could at least walk to the bar and get a beer . There were plenty of wait staff apparently just not very attentive wait staff . Not that it impacts me but not sure about seating parties of 10 either but that’s their choice good luck we won’t be back

I went early on and then went back a couple months later. More of an IPA younger crowd than typically like. Beers are much more of a local brew pub with no food and terrible seating.

Decided to check out the brewery as we were in the area and had heard good things from friends. We were customers 3 and 4 when we went in. We sat at the bar, which is quite large and we're greeted by a guy. He suggested a flight of the top four brews which we agreed to. Then he went to the end of the bar, looking at stuff in his phone along with another person. It would have been nice if someone had checked on us to see how we were doing or answer any questions about the beers. When we were almost done, a girl came over to see how we were doing and answer questions. She offered a taste of their house made shandy after my husband asked about it. She was also efficient on filling our growler while she greeted new guests. She did improve our first visit there after we felt ignored and unimportant. We will go back again to see how they do as well as to fill more growlers.

We went on Sunday, April 30th around 3:00. It was crowded since it just opened. They do need more seating as we stood the entire time there. They offer four four ounces tastings for $8. It is considered a "flight" and it was their four beers they brewed there. Two we liked and two not so much but that is the purpose of the tasting. They don't have food yet and I am not sure if they will have it in the future. They did have some live music which was okay. No TV or other entertainment. Guys that worked there seemed to be very nice. They do have a beer club sort of thing to join if you buy the mug.

We've been coming here for a on and off since they opened. They are doing a much better job with the quality of beers and selection. The staff is friendly and helpful. We usually bring our dog and she enjoys the open interior plan. There is often a band which is nice. If they are playing a little loud, we can move to the other side of the bar since it is fairly long.

Is the Witchdoctor conjuring up medicinal brews? Because when I looked around everyone seemed really happy and enjoying good beer, good music, and good vibes.
They keep the party going at Witchdoctor.
There was a two man band when we were there and everyone was enjoying their music. Plus there was another band bringing in their equipment for the next session.
It's a good vibe in Witchdoctor Brewing. Friends hanging out, families with children enjoying themselves, and couples having a some beers and going out to the food truck for some good eats.
Pictures of famous musicians are scattered throughout the brewery.
People playing pool and darts inside and cornhole games outside in the fenced in area of the lot. It's a cool happy place to be.
And the number one reason to be there....the beers. They're really good.
I had the Capulus. An excellent mocha stout.
My wife had the Mustache Queen. A Bohemian Pilsner. She enjoyed it.
Then I had the Nutter your Business. A chocolate peanut butter ale. Yes an ale.
Similar to a chocolate peanut butter stout but better. It was much lighter than a stout and tasted great.
We really enjoyed ourselves and we'll be back soon.

Absolutely delightful. The service, the beer selection, the beer itself, and the ambience. Top notch. If you have to choose here and Kinsmen, choose Witchdoctor, absolute excellence and attentive personal service. I got a sample and I didn’t even ask for it. I mean like their motto says, they have the cure for what ales you.
