Our first camping experience at Kettletown State Park deserves an A! We rented a cabin by the lake and we're pleasantly surprised on how nice and clean the cabin was upon our arrival. It was well-built and the two furnished bedrooms were all that we...More

A major Connecticut state park with all the usual amenities. Gorgeously forested, with picnic tables and restrooms. Lake Zoar is known for good fishing.

Kettle town State Park has a great camping section that will make you feel like you have driven a lot further away from it all than you have. It's also a great spot to Kayak, easy to get to and from the water.

We like Kettletown, the water there us shallow, it is closed from time to time as in the heat if summer the lake is not fit for swimming. Less of that "party" crowd you often get at other state park campgrounds, nice, quiet, family friendly

Attended a shower at the park, I was quite impressed with the area even though it was a little off the beaten path from Rte 84.

I love the peaceful serenity of Kettletown State Park. It is a great place to kayak. The loading dock is easy access to the water. I have found the other boaters to be very friendly and respectful to the kayakers.

We've never camped there , just hiked. It's great for that. We don't believe there's any refrigerators.
