Wood Memorial is on an old street in South Windsor very much worth seeing for its historical ambience, Drive up and down the street to marvel at the houses. Then stop in at Wood Memorial for it collection and atmosphere. Lovely place!

Donated gingerbread houses by professionals and amateurs make this one amazing sight to be seen. Holiday shop always has great finds and reasonable prices. All proceeds go directly to operating this private library and museum which showcases the history of South Windsor.

I've enjoyed many classical concerts (FREE!), evening lectures on a variety of interesting topics or persons, special events such as the Gingerbread House display around Christmas and always walked away smiling!
